    oops..

My question is: If it is so ok and run of the mill according to the feds, why did the feds ask for the demand to be sealed? (It became public knowledge only because twitter opposed the demand.)

Because they think like Sony execs.

The rule of law applies to the powerful in a unique way.

Retarded to blend your definition of privacy and transparency to make spew rhetoric. Wikileaks aims to show people how the government and corporations are not as transparent as they say they are. But privacy of personal communication is obviously a different realm.

What your rhetoric should of stated is about how the US really didn't care about the leaked cables, but once Wikileaks threatened to unleash corporate bank memos all hell broke loose for Assange.

One thing's for sure. If America makes up anything about Rop, the Dutch government will be like "Cool story bro, here you go" *Tosses Rop*
