    For those newfags:
Randy Kretchmer was the guy who conspired to murder Cynthia Kisser, former executive director of the original Cult Awareness Network. So much for "The Way to Happiness", but rather "Never fear to hurt another in a just cause."

    Charming!

He wasn't anywhere near Bixby Bridge on May 29th 2009 by any chance?
(key tags: Steve Brackett, Nancy Cartwright, ex-boyfriend, regged for a cool million, construction business in tatters, literally jumps off the bridge, suicide)

The Simpsons ability to hang on in there despite declining popularity is explained in a similar way to how scientology clings on.
Just how do they do it you may wonder? The Answer is simple: Lower your standards.
  12. Ogsonofgroo Member

Good fucking lord-crispy-fried-jebus-snacks. To TD and all 'poonin' the hell outta this..........I salute you! Cheers!

Hm, a thought on lowered standards as pertains to CoS> Hubbard took his deadly skillz as a sci-fi hack writer ,
created a bogus bunch of shite that has damaged an untold bunch of folks, and his cronies continue to push the crap-pile at the unsuspecting masses, so, how low can the standards get? Ask a scientologist for a spin on this.
Even in their twisted world, it use to be 'helping the able get moar able', now its like 'helping the paying pay more'.... oh wait, it's always been that, nm.... *shame*

This is a good point. As public service institutions like schools and prisons become increasingly impoverished, the remaining management will always be looking for ways to reduce costs. This is exactly the sort of opportunity organisations like Scientology can use to creep into the system. Scientology, of course, has one particular advantage, its products and services are manufactured and delivered by people on slave wages.
  20. RightOn Member

yes, they also sneak their way in through tutoring programs
    offering their "services" for free
  21. RightOn Member

    no NANCY
now take your little crap books and go home to your kids that will never see any inheritance because you are blowing it all on the cult. You donated two times your salary back in 2007. TEN FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS!

Bet you are proud of your Patron Laureate Award?
That award is worth 10 mil to the cult and not even worth a cup of coffee out here in wog world.

Caught somewhat in the middle was Rep. Dan Burke, D-Chicago, who explained he had sought ways to help build character in youngsters today and offered a resolution with suggestions. He said he will amend the legislation to remove any unintended references which could be interpreted as faith-based.

“We’re going to make it as palatable, might we say, as we possibly can get it,” Burke said. “Don’t want to offend anyone, and we certainly don’t want to be accused of bringing religion into a state issue. I’m a firm believer of the separation of church and state, and we’re going to make that perfectly clear.”

See post #135, Smurf already confirmed the guy is Stuart Randolph Kretchmer.

I was going to ask why Crapwright would need to have a COS lawyer present for asking for an "innocent" little kids book to be distriubted.
That surely is a red flag.

Links would be nice. I already looked up the man's name, but I need something with his face. Real dox are needed.

Understood and agreed. Sorry, can't provide dox, but hopefully someone else can.
  29. RightOn Member

    interesting:
Randy Kretchmar and Cheryl Berman became Chicago Org's 1st
Humanitarians with contributions totaling $100,000! Kind of takes your
    breath away, doesn't it.
    http://www.groupsrv.com/religion/about140550.html

so Crapwright donates 10 mill and Randy and his wife were Chicago orgs first $100,000 donors?
I think if the two of these people show up anywhere to ask anyone for anything, their intention should be crystal clear.

(chuckles) Christian Post had something to say as well... gotta love how this story rankles both sides of the bible belt / religous right

Church of Scientology Booklet Rejected From Ill. School Curriculum

comments open, being that its a fairly big religous news media outlet - no doubt louanne & troops will hit it harder than most.

    EDIT - best part...

Can someone poon all these church/state groups (Mr. Sherman, Americans United for Separation of Church & State, Laurie Higgins, et. al) with info about the Applied Scholastics approval in Illinois? Cuz that's just as bad as this Way to Happiness shit.

I'd do it, but I'm smack dab in the middle of writing my own harpoons. If nobody steps up, I can do it later, but it'll have to wait a while, and I'd rather we roll with it while we still have momentum on this story.
  35. Anonymous Member

I didn't get that he claimed single handed. I'm glad he was there, in person, at any rate. Why not contact him, congrat, and then a, "oh by the way...."

sci's sly shell games (we're a religion! No, we are Not a religion, we are secular! We're humanitarians, secular humans! No, we're not a business! No, we are incorporated, we have lawyers. Lots of lawyers)

just isn't working out for them. Seems like a sign of the end times for sci. All they do anymore is Deny that scientology is involved, using front groups or sci's in business to sneak in somewhere. When the lights get turned on, oh noze, no sci here. Now, I could stick a label on a 20-year Ford that says "Rolls Royce", but who would buy that in this day and age?

Scientology is, in essence, still trying to sell an Edsel by calling it a Ferrari, and pricing it likewise. The fact that they all fully expect to fool people stems from Hubbard's post-it notes of psychopathic policy stuck in evewry nook and cranny and which must be obeyed at all costs. Bart Simpson would likely approve of sci slight-of-hand, particularly because it Does fail.

Cheryl's husband, "Stuey" Kretchmar doesn't make enough money lawyering to even pay the insurance on their home on Lake Michigan in Wilmette, Illinois. The $100 grand came from Cheryl.
  37. xenubarb Member

Been there, done that. He put a lot of money, time and effort into showing up IRL so he gets props for that. I've established a dialogue with him and invited him to ask us for info on elements of Scn, no matter how obscure. I also sent him to AnonLover's great collection of dox:
    http://www.scribd.com/AnonLover/documents
    http://www.scribd.com/collections/2480030/Applied-Scholastics-Exposed

That oughta keep him busy for a while. He may show up here. Sherman's March on Scientology ain't over!

When his blog is saying over and over "I got this killed...", with not mention of anyone else, it sure sounds like he's trying to claim all the credit to me. YMMV.
