10th Oct - Sydney, Australia - Post Game

We had a pretty good day, despite the lack of Firebox and the mix-up regarding the meeting location. (Always check the forums if you want last-minute confirmation of what's happening!)

We started with 7 people at the Hercules St org, and by the time we'd reached Broadway our numbers had swelled to at least 16 (I may be forgetting someone... not sure). Props in particular to the new guy, who first turned up at Hyde Park, then Belmore Park, then wandered around Surry Hills until he found us at the org!

You'd think that with so few people, we wouldn't be very effective, and yet the scilons complained enough to call three cops on us at Hercules St. One of them was the lady who we first met two months ago, she was once again quite interested in our cause and I must say the others did a good job of talking about why we're protesting to her.
Additionally, we had one of the flags with us, and with its help we gave flyers out to at least 70% of the local foot traffic. Some people even turned around after driving past just to get a flyer!

We also had lots of fun watching all the scilons at the other org run inside as soon as we turned up, and plenty of spontaneous chants (plus a good Rickroll, aided by the small yet valiant speakers on someone's phone) kept morale high.

Interestingly, Cyrus came out and talked to the cops, then walked with them up the street and took one of them inside the dance studio building to talk more, while the other cop kept watching us from outside. I wonder what that was all about?
