20.04.2010 - Stress test booth raided in Tübingen, Germany Anonymous Stuttgart ain't idle! We got word of a stress test in the lovely town of Tübingen, which is about 40 km south of Stuttgart. And as the stress test there has never been raided before, we thought it's time to pop the cherry. And that's what we did: They had built up the tent next to the Stiftskirche. I was the first to be there on that day. When I came, the stress test booth was quite filled with about 3 passerbys standing there and two at the cans. I stopped in front of the booth when a Scilon told me to wait for a colleague who would talk to me. I told him it ain't gonna happen but that I was going to be there for a while, so I opened my bag and put on my mask. That was when the fun started, an angry Scilon approached me and said - I kid you not - at least 6 times: "Take off your mask, you're not allowed to wear it". Which was utter bullshit, because I was alone, and that's not a gathering, and masks are only forbidden at gatherings according to German law. I told him to stick his TRs because they won't work with me and then only he stopped. I started to yell my usual "Dianetics is Scientology". You won't believe how quickly the booth was empty. However, by chance a few policemen came by who told me I had no permits for being there and flyering. However, from Stuttgart's public order office I know that I don't need permits for political flyering, which I did. So the policemen called up and quickly realized I was right. They told me to stay about 30m away so I continued my flyering there. A random passerby wanted to help immediately after seeing the scene I made and so he flyered from the other side of the booth, 30m in the other direction. It was just AWESOME. The shop owners were giving me thumbs ups through the windows, lots of people were saying "FINALLY SOMEONE'S DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SCIENTOLOGY CRAP" and the stress test booth was EMPTY for the whole time except in the end when two arab-looking men not educated yet about the danger of Scientology were sitting at the booth. I had the chance to walk with them, though, when I had to depart for that day and was also able to educate them about what would have awaited them in Scientology. And even more: they showed me they had been given a Dianetics book. The thing is: they were NOT allowed to sell any books on that day. I did not know this when I walked with them, so I didn't ask whether they bought it. But we all know they never give away these books for free at these booths. I'll still see what we can make out of this. After about 50 minutes, a second anon caught up with me, and took over because I had to go. Here still a few Scilons that stood in the middle of the street trying to lure people to their booth: All in all, it was a very theta evening.
