850+ scientologists facebook names/links I have been given a list of over 850 current scientologist's facebook names and links, from a very reliable source. Before I go blindly posting them for just sake of posting, what does the hivemind think? i.e. reasons why you think posting them would be a good or a bad idea. I've been told that some of the contacts do not openly identify themsleves as scientologists (but they are all scientologists). Mods can PM me for further info if required.

If so, I agree you should post their names here so we can be cautious when choosing them as friends on FB. If you are talking about ex's, I don't think that's a good idea at all. If they are trying to stay anonymous and just coming out, why scare them off before they even have a chance to get involved?

I've personally mistakenly sent friendship requests on FB to current Scilos only to find out their status later, and the list would be helpful to people like me. Considering all the spywork and harassment the C of S has done to ex's on FB, it seems pro quid pro (fair exchange) to know who they are and also to prevent ex's from being harassed. They know who we are - obviously. FB has an option of not allowing your friend contacts to be known outside your personal friend circle. That's helpful.

Besides, people would simply feed them to the chans or competely waste the information given. We could use our PM system to take a few of the names, and talk to those people. It will be safer for them, it will keep OSA consistently guessing what we are doing and who is actually being contacted, and we could create a genuine connection with some of these people. If someone wants some of the names, they can ask for a PM from OP with some of the names, and those people can contact through a dummy account.

I do not have a single person who is not a personal friend or personal ally on my FB. Unfortunately, a couple of people I sent friendship requests to earlier turned out to still be active, even though it appeared they had not done any services in years. They are not on my FB and will not associate with me... that's fine with me. I have found and continue to find ex's who have been in "hiding" for many years that were and are my friends.

I don't want my friends circle compromised or for them to be compromised by active Scilos harassing ex's. That list would be very helpful for those of us working to find the ex's and get them active again.

If I found a long lost friend or family member because someone one put my facebook in a group of names with the intention of aiding such contact then I wouldn't mind. However since, scientology is an abusive cult which does anything but re-connect friends/family then your example is not an entirely fair comparison. Your argument would be more neutral if you'd just said "another site". The reason for posting would not be frivolous or vindictive but, yes, I do have real concerns that there are a few retarts out there who will take it upon themselves to troll these people (or OSA troll their own in the name of anonymous, telling them that they are on a "nasty" list). Thanks for the input. More feedback please. BTW, the 850+ list is not complete. There is more yet to be sorted apparently.

The only real issue is that it's a pain in the butt to compile. I don't care what you do with the list, but PM me with the list. It will save me a butt load of time. As far as your moral/ethical quandary goes, you are probably more concerned about what is done with the list. It would suck for people to annoy or harass those individuals & I agree. But the ones that would do that have already found that information & done so. The flip side of this Scientology battle is informing the public members of current events going on inside their church through various means. Essentially the moralfag offensive. If we try to go up to these individuals in real life we risk fair game tactics. Communicating with them on-line is the best & least risky method of getting information into their hands and this is an effort we need to step up.

I can't say for sure but it is a fair bet that some of the names may be public scientolgists or lowly staffers who's names and contacts will not appear in any scientology publication except perhaps completions lists (which don't contain contact info anyway). For sure there are many people here who could make good sensible use out of this list. It's the potential devastation that a few idiots could do that remains the argument for not making it public. Remember, ultimately it is not up to this poster whether it gets posted somewhere at some point, whether here or anywhere else and this poster is not going to be the holder and sole distributor of the list to vetted inviduals. If the source really wants it public then I would imagine that they'd find someone else to do it and some other venue if it wasn't welcome here.

Ask them the right questions, after you got them to trust you etc. Don't be rude or agressive. If you post the list, OSA will close all ways in that accounts asap. Some idiot will do shit with it for sure if its public. Use PMs and serve those who have nice fbook accounts with a few of the names. Get a big player in the Scilon-Community and suddenly spread the truth carefully.

Not only do I think that there are members of anon that would certainly troll these people, but OSA might do it just to make us look bad. What we want to do is HELP the Scilons get out. If OSA (or anyone else) is trolling these people, they will see Anonymous as haters and will be more convinced to believe in Scientology's belief that every critic is nothing but a hater and terrorist. I personally heard from a Scientologist (who honestly believes this. He is not far enough in to know any better. Most Scientologists don't know any better): "Anonymous is a group of people who hate Scientology and they constantly make threats that they are going to burn the Org down." I bet those threats really were made. But I bet they were made from certain members of a certain other group (like OSA?)
