Metro/Capitol police may be a different story, we (hopefully) have an escort, and we do have designated namefags there to interface with the police carrying copies of the DC codes stating masks are legal unless used in comission of a crime. All we do is to make sure we keep the lulz, get people's spirits up, and enturbulate this crazy, dangerous little cult I know of. We had the location, we figured we just had to do something with it. I'm hoping everything gets pulled off and we have a lot of fun doing a lot of good. >:3 Also, cakes. AND ALL HAIL THE THUNDERDOME SUITE! We do not have a permit to "march" but there is a considerable hike from the closest metro station to the permit location. I am going to be speaking to NPS officials in the next week to iron out the rules for the mall, add equipment to our permit, and to figure out the issue of getting people to the site. There are a lot of law enforcement officials with jurisdiction on the national mall, so it can get confusing. I am hoping to speak to the NPS officials about setting up a police/SWAT escort or at least finding a solution to make sure everyone has a heads up on the situation so there won't be a problem. We've worked with them in the past and not only have they been very professional, but they've stood up for us and really helped us out a few protests ago during a minor permit snafu so they're super awesome guys. I will be posting more as soon as I hear updates, so please check back next week about this issue.
