Nobody is being PAID to be at this. A select few that could not afford the travel expenses of attending were provided travel expenses by some extremely generous Anons out of gratitude for all the hard work they have done. If YOU had done anything other people appreciated enough, then people would have sent you money. You will NEED to stay hydrated. Make sure you bring sports drinks and water with you to the site. We will have water on site too, but make sure you come fully stocked. Wear light, loose fitting clothes. Bring sun screen and reapply every few hours. Bring snacks that can withstand the heat to keep up your energy and think about packing stuff with ice and rags to cool off. We will have water, a first aid tent with bug spray and sunscreen (but still help us out and bring stuff if you have it), foodstuffs, tents/trees for shade, and some fans. DON'T PUSH YOURSELF. If you feel sick, overheated, headachey, crampy, etc. then take a break and go to the First Aid tent plox. Take care of yourself and have fun!

Here are some tips for staying cool..... you may not have thought of. Before leaving, grab a hand towel ....soak a hand towel in ice water and wring. ( if you are going to use the hotel's, PLEASE return it!) If you can roll some ice cubes up into it that even better, place in plastic bag and throw in nap sack. It will be cool and refreshing when you need it. PUT IT BACK IN THE BAG AND BACK IN YOUR NAP SACK AFTER EVERY USE. OR IT WILL DRY OUT!! I use this for the beach, works like a charm. DARK,THICK & POLYESTER CLOTHES ARE A NO-NO FOR THE HEAT!! If you want the Anon suit and black tie look without the heat. Sew a black or red tie to the front of a white t shirt, or just wear the tie around your neck with a t shirt.(this is the hotter way though...... ties are made of poly usually and are hot around the neck, best to sew it to t shirt) Oh hell! Just draw or paint one on! (But the smell of marker on your t-shirt maybe grose.) DONT FORGET SUNBLOCK. Bring spare a t shirt!!!! You can go in the bathroom, soak a t-shirt in water in the sink and change into it and go back out. AAAAHHHHH! Also they have those neck cooling thingies you can wear, and HAND HELD FANS also work great and are easy to throw in a napsack. And of course stay hydrated! You can also bring a small umbrella. (not a patio one, the ones for rain duh!) Pick a hat with a LARGE brim. The trick is keeping your head cool. Putting ice cubes directly on your head and then your hat to hold them on there and just letting them melt, is another trick. (if you can get some ice from a place to eat or something) Its also works to cool your feet. But don't forget do not wear masks in ANY government building down there. . ******If you have access to a fridge, bring along a couple of those mini ice packs and freeze overnight. Many hotels have fridges, if they don't ask the people to freeze it for you at the front desk, don't forget it when you leave in th AM!!!. These are FAB for cooling off. ********** *******Masks are hot,,,,,,having plastic against your skin is not pleasant. Line your mask with cotton fabric, glue with non toxic school glue. I HOPE THIS WORKS......AND DOESNT BECOME GUMMY. Make sure the fabric is thick, so the glue won't come through. An old thick cotton t-shirt to rip up will work fine. Just glue it in and cut out the holes. I also ppunched air holes in mask in diffferent places with a paper punch. Make sure you glue the fabric in the mask WAY in advance........ even school glue will smell if done the night before. Let it air out ac ouple of days. DO IT TODAY!.*************** And in Boris' own words BE SAFE. He suggests white t shirts and jeans. The more people dress the same the better. ( although not very lulzy). Also don't wear dark colors... too hot!!! And a GREAT tip from him is to change your shirt to a different color when leaving. So bring a different color t shirt and throw in your nap sack for when you leave, you can change it in the bathroom. ALSO!! he says to bring a spare hat, and change your hat with a different color hat. Or if you weren't wearing one on the way in, wear one on the way out. Or bring 2 different masks. The idea of course is to look like 2 different people coming and going. All this precaution may not be as needed at a bigger protest, but some of you may want to leave earlier than the rest..... if the heat is too much and they are good safety tips to know anyways. If you feel you can't make the march all the way there, and the heat will bother you too much..... THEN DON'T. Anyone know exactly how far (miles) it will be to get there from the start of point???? A person who is out of commission is not much help!. Take a cab or city bus? if you can afford it, and meet everyone down there. DO NOT TAKE ONE DIRECTLY FROM YOUR HOTEL. Go down a few blocks. SAME FOR THE WAY BACK..... IF YOU LEAVE EARLIER. HAVE THE CAB DROP YOU OFF A COUPLE OF BLOCKS FROM YOUR HOTEL. Heat really bothers me, if I can't cool off right away.... so I don't know if I will cab it there or not. If you feel you can't make it,,, then its best to cab it from the beginning , rather than dropping out on the way and seperating from the crowd .. you have a better chance of getting followed if you drop out on the way. I havn't decided if I think I can make it or not. I heard it may be kinda cloudy which will help a bit......gonna check the heat in the morning. QUESTION!!!!!!! ~~~~~~CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHEN WE SHOULD PUT OUR MASKS ON TO BE SAFE?? Don't want to put it on when I walk out of a hotel.~~~~~
