A little bird told me a new episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia that aired last night targeted the cult and similar scams. It even featured what was clearly intended to be an emeter with references to the needle indicating units of stress. The episode is entitled Mac and Dennis Buy a Timeshare.
That's one of the characters on the cans with an inverted pyramid scheme graphic in the background.

Is that the Ann Archer show?

I love it when the Scientology corporation is mocked in comedy shows. It's as effective as ten serious news articles in warning people about the cult.

I know, right? These people are relentlessly mocked. I would be mortified to be such a fucktard.

It's not a little bird, it's as obvious as a aircraft carrier.
  6. Couldn't agree more. The fact that that the show lumped Scientology together with other very well known scams and used the word scam probably two dozen times was top notch inoculation through humor & satire. Haven't found any full episode web streams of it yet, but it's S09E04 for those who want to search it out.
  7. Hilarious, it's very cool they made fun of the scam which is Scientology.
