Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology I have subscribed to a new channel and this was posted April 19th. The mini raids everywhere seem to be the first part of a Siege encouraged by many Anonymous. Congratulations Anonymous. The last Siege (1999 - 2002) drove C0$ nuts. And that was a handful of Sps in maybe 10 cities. With 10,000+ willing to show up at anytime and besiege the C0$- DM may sail away on the Freewinds for good! We are, Anonymous. Presently, you have successfully manipulated Youtube, to remove the accounts of two major detractors of your criminal organization. Whether or not these accounts remain suspended, it is your criminal activities, which are unacceptable, and will not be tolerated. Also recently, you sent your terrorist wing the OSA, to stalk and expose some of our members, and use the law, to harass them. They may have fallen or not, but already many more Anonymous, galvanized by your terrorist acts, have joined our popular uprising, and have taken up their cause. We have decided, to punish you, for your actions against us, and others, as well as to further our aim, to peacefully deconstruct your organization. We have determined, to take an immediate course of action, which we believe, you will not find pleasant at all. Your criminal acts, to destroy detractors and defectors on the internet, and on the streets of the worlds free nations, grow increasingly desperate. Desperation precedes panic. Celebrities are beginning to publicly leave Scientology. European Nations move ever more boldly against Scientology, to suppress your criminal activities. You call us terrorists, and try to intimidate us, with your own terror campaign, even covertly producing a video, threatening to bomb yourselves, and falsely claiming it came from us. That was stupid. No one has forgotten what Scientology did to Paulette Cooper. To punish you, we are declaring a Summer Siege of Scientology. For the months of May, June, July and August, all Anonymous members, are being encouraged to give the demonstrations, an extra hour or two. Everyone who can will come out for the major demonstrations. And everyone who can will show up, whenever possible, in groups of at least five. These, Guerilla Demonstrations, will be especially effective as they will occur without pattern or warning, other than to the local authorities, to inform them of our peaceful intent. We intend that every time you look out your windows and doors, you will likely see some of us. We will constantly remind you, your staff your members, the general public and especially the local and national governments, of the many crimes of Scientology. The violation of the Human Rights of your staff, and the abuse of their children, as well as the continued application of your cruel Disconnection Policy, are reasons enough to lay siege to Scientology. However, there are a few key crimes of Scientology we wish to focus world attention on, at this time. What began as outrage over internet censorship has grown into a truly noble crusade. Everyone who participates in this movement will do something that benefits their society and their spirits. $cifags, you have turned a bunch of internet pranksters into a righteous army of justice. This wont end until your global scam is destroyed. I've never been more proud.

In a way flashraids are more effective than the planned worldwide protest days, in that flashraids absolutely scare the shit out of the scilons. They expect us, but they have no idea what to do when we show up when they DON'T expect us. Utilize that.

Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology VERY nice. And I like the call to escalation for the summer months, with major protests ongoing but more and more mini-raids. Some people are calling for wholesale changeover to JUST flash raids, though, which I think is fail. I'm not driving to Toronto or Ottawa to go to a flash raid. Alot of people are only going to come for bigger protests.

It has the same style, people have moved on and don't want to see the same thing again. It's too wordy/too long. And it doesn't give off the same feeling that the first one did, that "Oh Shit, things are really going to happen now".
Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology To be honest, when I saw the first video, my reaction was that it was a very powerful statement, but was either a joke - or wishful thinking that soon would be a joke. I (and many, many others) were STUNNED beyond the ability of words to describe when people actually hit the streets, all over the world no less.

I just hope that it isn't a long message spoken with the voice distortion, because people who are apathetic will probably get irritated and stop watching. And there will probably never be another video like the first one. It was epic. Not to piss in anyone's Cheerios, but I'm a bit confused. I thought Anonymous was leaderless. If so, then who makes these decisions? I'm not arguing against the decision in this video to hold spontaneous raids throughout the summer (in fact, I think it is a kick-ass idea), I just feel that saying you are leaderless but taking orders from whoever creates these videos is a bit hypocritical. Sorry, I'm just a loner and have always been. I'll be right there with you guys on May 10th when you protest Scientology, but I won't be part of the group
Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology The vids are created after we come to a (semi-)consensus. Anonymous is leaderless, but individual members have a tendency to take any half-decent idea (and a few not-so-decent ones) and run with it.

Until the internet we couldn't confirm rumours fast enough to act on them, much less verify them first. These videos are just the better tales being repeated in a new media. Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology Thanks for the reply, Anonymous43215. However, I think that certain elements of Anonymous do more to hurt the cause than to help. Standing outside with a sign that says "loldongs" (or something similar to that, something that no one outside of channers has any idea what it means), and calling everyone ___fags isn't going to win people over who think that these things are immature. Again, I don't want anyone to think that I'm against Anonymous because I'm not. I'm for you guys, and will be there to support you. I just wish we could get past some of the immaturity in the movement. I think it would help to make Anonymous even more efficient with the public. That's just my opinion though.

Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology Disagree completely. As an anon motivator? Maybe not as good as the first one. As an attention-getting video for people who aren't anon? Very much so. You have to remember that we're 3 months and change into this operation and the general public are just starting to get informed. If we just have the one initial video (well, the other less-popular chanology videos too but those were never big hits), it may seem like we're one hit wonders. Having a few of these things that are professional-looking, creepy, and talked-up means that people may think twice about blowing this movement off.

Sure, meme signs or whatever don't put the point across that much, but who cares? They are funny, and that is what we are, we are the antithesis of the Co$ who has no sense of humor. Plus there are plenty of people at the protests who give out proper information, so stop baaawing and chill out.
Re: Anonymous Lays Siege to Scientology Eye think the video is awesome, why?...because it updates viewers on the latest issues and developments, stays true to the message of anonymous, has humor, yet has a serious tone, its promotes peaceful, lawful means of protest, and finally reminds supporters that this is a long battle and reminds COS that we are here to stay in many forms.
