I wasn't on. I did get on to the site, but the echo was so horrendous I couldn't understand anything that was said, so I logged out again.
The same goes for their setting up tables promoting "Say No To Drugs", like the recent incident in Quebec City. They actually use young kids to hand out the pamphlets to interested people. They "stat" each and every one they hand out. The scilon running it turns in his stats every Thursday by 2:00pm. The next week, he must equal or surpass his previous weeks stats or he drops down one "Condition" and must turn in a "Condition" and "Condition Formula" to Uplines. A person or group can drop down into "Danger" or "Emergency" at the drop of a hat. At NN TR, when stats dropped, it gave NN Int the justification to fly in with two staff for "Corrrections" upon executives and others. AND of course, receive fat checks for doing so. While NN Int is there, they train the NN Staff at Roll Call (staff must line up in military like divisions for every staff Roll Call), to Parrot-Verbatum Chinese School variations. CRAZY stuff! ### Sorry to derail a bit here, just wanted show how Narconon is 100% scientology in EVERY aspect. Even the Case Supervisor who reviews each patient file, uses the Large Green Volume, Hubbard Scientology library for making his decisions on "Case Gain" of each patient. The patient's "Indicators" must be "GI" (good indicators), or VGI, (very good indicators). If a patient is BI (bad indicators), their Case File is "Red Flagged" and this BI condition must be addressed within 24 hours by a Qualifications Officer or Ethics Officer before the patient continues on. All of this jargon and procedure is right out of Scientology-Dianetics books. I was there when all the cases of Green Volume books arrived for the Case Supervisor at the time, Marc Bernard. He was like a little kid opening Xmas presents Watching all of this was so "alien" (LOL), to me for quite some time until,........... Must go cook and eat supper now .
The school wisely formed the public response to this. But hopefully at least a few people in Lawton will have read this piece of lulz material. Nice work Anons and advocates.
Why wait, I mean really, why wait. Lets start pooning schools, PTA's and papers now. Let them know that Narconon, Applied Scholastics and and other Scientology front groups have been worming their way around OK schools.
If we had a lot of harpooners we could do this. Since we don't we need to pinpoint decision makers. There are over 500 school districts in Oklahoma. What is needed is research to find the one or two people in each school district who have the interest and authority to hire speakers for drug education and focus on them. Another important piece of research is finding out school districts where Narconon has already appeared and harpoon them.
Maybe instead of focusing on individual schoold districts, the focus should be getting the Oklahoma State Department of Education http://sde.state.ok.us/ to put something out to the districts regarding NarCONon the way California did. Just a thought. BigBeard
Can anyone assist me in getting this tread into the proper place and with a new title? When I posted this thread I was in the heat of the battle. I have been trying to figure it out....:?
they did not air what was said after that which was, "the the levels of V and M you are forced to take in order to advance through the course"...rule of sound bites. I just wanted them to air the Narconon Bridge to the Bridge...I almost fell out of my chair when they did. There are many quotes taken out of context.
Also KSWO will not push out the video....no worries, I still have it recored on my DVR. I will capture it from my TV and post later today or in the morning.
I do not think the megadoses of vitamins and minerals provided me any temporary or lasting benefit. When I did the "purification rundown", I already took vitamin and mineral supplements in small, safe doses with my meals. The Cal-Mag solution nauseated me, drinking the nut oil mixture did nothing other than give my gall bladder a workout, the niacin made my skin flush painfully, drinking distilled water just made me crave minerals, and the lengthy sauna stints just exhausted me. The running was good exercise, but I did that every week anyway. In summary, the purif does not offer anything positive that you can't do for yourself at a fraction of the cost, and, it gives you some temporary health detrimental baggage that has negative value. The "win" of finishing was a relief from the self-facilitated torture of another Hubbardian destructive program.
You have a point. But I think it is worth trying to reach the largest group possible. As far as the state goes, there might be a head in OK public education that we can send a letter to and see if she or her can pass it down the chain. Unfortunately we are dealing with sneaky bastards how I think are approaching teachers instead of the state Department of Education. It probably looks like 1-NN approaches a teacher 2- teacher goes to principle of school 3- principle thinks WOW great, free anti drug program for my school.
Here is some stuff for the state level. http://sde.state.ok.us/ Oklahoma State Department of Education Address: 2500 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105-4599 Receptionist: (405) 521-3301 Fax: (405) 521-6205 janet_barresi@sde.state.ok.us State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Janet Barresi Phone: (405) 521-3301 janet_barresi@sde.state.ok.us Chief of Staff Jennifer Carter jennifer_carter@sde.state.ok.us Powers and responsibilities Oklahoma This article is part of the series: Politics and government of Oklahoma Constitutionally, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction has no duties. The office’s powers and responsibilities come from Oklahoma School Code and the powers granted to the office by the Oklahoma State Board of Education. The primary function of the State Superintendent is giving advice and making recommendations to the State Board of Education on all matters pertaining to the policies and administration of the State Department of Education and the public school system. The State Superintendent’s powers over the Department of Education come from its ex officio positions as President of the Oklahoma State Board of Education and Oklahoma State Board of Career and Technology Education. As the President of these Boards, the State Superintendent presides at all meetings and has the full right of discussion and voting on all measures. As the Chief Executive Officer of the State Department of Education, State Superintendent coordinates all divisions of the State Department of Education and supervises all employees. As Oklahoma's state education agency, the Office of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction is responsible for the general administration, coordination, supervision, promotion, evaluation, and improvement of educational programs, the state superintendent interprets and implements the policies of the State Board of Education. Also, upon request, the State Superintendent must advise district superintendents of schools on questions as to the powers, duties, and functions of school district officials. Every two years, the State Superintendent must compile, publish, and distribute a book of laws and Attorney General’s opinions on schools, and issue annually a statistical report for the Governor and legislators on the Education Department. Depending on the relationship between the two, the State Superintendent can serve as the chief education advisor to the Governor of Oklahoma, as demonstrated by the relationship between Governor Brad Henry and Superintendent Sandy Garrett. The State Superintendent serves as the official representatives from Oklahoma to the United States Department of Education.
Here is the OK PTA, looks like they could be a big help too. They help write laws. I am thinking we might get NN banned in that state too. I think we should draft a letter that covers NN and Applied Scholastic's. We can cover how other states banned them and send relevant but not overwhelming information to these folks. ????? I think a list of documents useful for cites should be drawn up. I think we have to write something that doesn't delve too deeply into the corporate mess that is Narconon and Scientology. If we provide TMI, eyes will glaze. Think National Enquirer. They have one cover to draw you in. They do it well. I would emphasize the vulnerabilities rather than obscure connections with the cult. Junk Science. Scientology courses The danger of the Purif and vitamin supplements NN educational outreach reviewed and terminated in Cali, Hawaii, Boston, Buffalo List the most obvious of the inaccurate teachings: that drugs are all stored in fat, that the niacin burn is "radiation leaving your body" the notion that you sweat out toxins in saunas. Their theories about "drug flashbacks" are all crap. In fact, the whole fucking presentation is crap and we must find a way to communicate this to schools without getting all hung up in peripheral bullshit. That would include rapes and deaths at Narconon rehabs. We're talking about the theories behind their educational outreach and we should stick to that. Attack the theories here, not the abuses of the Narconon rehab program.
I am thinking it might read like something like this Dear sir or Madam, I am writing you with a concern about recent activity in your states schools in regards to the Church of Scientology and its front groups. The two entities that have I am talking about are Narcanon and Applied Scholastic's. Recently two of your school districts were targeted by Narcanon, where they were scheduled to speak on the issue of drug abuse. Due to community efforts your schools were alerted and put a stop to the talks. Narcanon has been banned from a number of states, among them California ?? ?? and ??. Applied Scholastic has also been banned from receiving public funding. A large number of investigations found and Scientology's own propaganda acknowledge that these programs are designed to indoctrinate youth in to the ideology of Scientology. This clearly violates the separation of church and state but even more disturbing are the extreme beliefs that Scientology promotes. Narconon is not a medical recognized program and even teaches that the Psychiatric profession is evil. They blame the WWII Death Camps on Psychiatry. They urge those needing help with drugs to stay away from excepted medical since and pay them large amounts of money. Hidden cameras in a recent Canadian TV program caught Narconon wasting no time pushing Scientology on students the minute they thought they were alone with the students. Many survivors of Scientology and its front groups have stated that their experiences included, Racism, Homophobia, Family Distinction, Beatings, Unlawful Detentions, Sleep Deprivation, Slave Like Labor Conditions, and Medical Related Deaths. Narconon Also uses a Scientology program called the Purification Rundown they say purges drug toxins from the body. While there is no medical proof that it does anything of the like, it is proved to involve large and dangerous doses of Niacin and sweating many hours a day in a Sauna. People have actually died from these programs. As concerned citizens we are sending you links to supporting evidence and asking for your support in banning these programs from our nations Schools. We also value feedback from you and are willing to answere any questions you might have. THIS IS MY ROUGH DRAFT. PLEASE RIP IT TO PIECES AND ADD MORE OR BETTER INFORMATION>
I have been saying this all along You have to warn people before they get into an area. NIP IT IN THE BUD I have written to SO many states via snail mail, school boards, PTA ect... a long time ago. I guess they have to be hit again, because they simply are not listening. And the other front groups need a lot more attention too. Applied Scholastics sneaking in via tutoring programs becsue of the damn no child left behind crap, and also WISE is a force to be reckoned with. They are the most stealthiest sneaky in to business after business by offering training courses for improved productivity. I say onward with full ass raep on all COS front groups! And no lube! GO GO GO GO!!!!!!
Just taking a moment to LAUGH IN ANDREW CUOMO'S FACE at this brilliant news. Not so upstat now are ya, child abusing FREAK!
Constitutional church state, and public health policies issues were also involved in arguing for banning Narconon in Oklahoma schools. As succinctly as I can put it: It is likely that First Amendment issues make the appearance of Narconon at public schools a violation of the Constitution. Narconon's policies, procedures, rehabilitation protocols, and organization structure are all contained in writings of L. Ron Hubbard which Scientology considers sacred scripture and which have been recognized by the IRS as such. Christian and other religious and secular students are being subjected to covert proselytization by an organization recognized as a religion and granted tax exempt status by the IRS. Promotion of Narconon in public schools is also inimical to public health policy. Tax payers fund extensive mental health and social welfare services. Narconon, like the Church of Scientology and all of its affiliates and front groups is committed to their destruction as mandated by Scientology religious doctrine. Narconon is committed to the denial of psychiatric medications to millions of Oklahoma residents, and propagandizes students to abandon necessary medications and standard psychotherapy. Oklahoma State Superintendant of Instruction Janet Barresi needs to advise local school superintendants to discontinue sponsoring and promoting Narconon speakers, programs, and propaganda as a threat to students and a matter which raises acute issues of constitutional permissibility and appropriate public policy.
I am uploading the RAW video next. I added some things to this video, just a little, basically some clairfication....
I was checking into Gov. Andre Cuomo's father Mario Cuomo to see if Mario Cuomo had any brothers. It dosen't look like anythings ther, but ya never know. I can't find anything except Mario Cuomo's father Andrea Cuomo....
