Yes and welcome to WWP. 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— Ephesians 6:10-18
Thanks its very hard to find anyone that even studies or believes in bible prophecy anymore , i been studying the bible for about 7 years.
if u want to study the history of the bible with ufos , look up ancient sumerian texts and the ongoing and upcoming war with the two alien races the Pleadians and the Reptilians.
I just noticed one of your other threads was reported as SPAM. One question, are you slinging arrows or are you protecting others from arrows?
'Hello, 911? There's some guy sneaking around my property, all dressed in black, like a thief in the night. Could you send a patrol car?'
And there was me thinking that Jesus said that no one knows the time of his return and to beware of those who claim to know.
i dont know , im just estimating the time he may be coming, but there are many events that will happen before he comes , so it might not be very soon.
Cool. I generally don't find it helpful to try and estimate. There's a lot of debate and ambiguities on a lot of prophecies that people with greater insight than I have wrestled with. I prefer to work on the principle that any day could be the day.
and it is to be noted that if he came how would we recognize him, and would the majority of the world welcome him with open arms.
A good starting point might be proof that Jesus ever existed… and, no, a rabid belief in his existence does not make it factual. It might be the one thing Hubbard ever got right…. "the man on the cross… there was no Christ."
The subject of the thread is "any Christians in here". So you're on record as a "no". You can still stick around and maybe learn something. Here's the first lesson: God is love and He loves you. John 3:16 New International Version (NIV) 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Genuine question. Can you understand how using this type of shallow bollocks definitional sophistry makes your whole argument unconvincing to non-believers? A Scientological analogy: Declaring SPs to be criminals while declaring all people who oppose Scientology to be SPs. It’s sophistic wordplay bullshit.
I really dig your passive aggressiveness... most Christian, indeed. I have REAL flesh-and-blood people who love me. I don't need an Invisible Friend who orders genocide in the Old Testament, then turns into pure Love in the New. What utter rot. John 3:16 is not proof that Christ existed. Try again.
23rd Psalms. I repeat it in my head every time I get ready to march in Clearwater. 1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
If you're a Christian and new here, button your britches because it gets wild some times. Er, most times. Be prepared to hear words and ideas you've never heard before, and to be called a "christfag" among other things. (It's a compliment. Really. Sort of.) You need to pretty thick skin to survive in this place. But it's worth it.
Funny how some here have no problem discerning that Scientology is a cult; yet, cannot see that they, themselves, are cult members. Lash = / = log (cwutididthar) I'd be interested to hear feedback on this, though I'm skeptical that any of the Elect will actually venture to do so, preferring to ignore critics.
Echoing Budd’s sentiments, try to think of WWP as a street corner where you are promoting you wares. You have a right to be there, and you have a right to promote you wares. But, in the same vein, other people have the right to come and challenge you (whether through mockery or serious discourse). This holds true regardless of whatever particular thing it is you are promoting. If you were promoting anti-Christianity you would find it challenged and mocked in a similar way and with a similar ferocity as in this thread. Just the nature of things of things and the small price to pay for little section of street corner.
Oh jeesus, the Millerite heresy again. Frankly, I am unconcerned by salvation and eternity. What happens after death happens to everybody and I don't think being part of an exclusive club in life affects it one way or another. However, how you actually act towards others despite your beliefs might have more to do with how you are treated in this life-and after. Claiming you have the answers and that others do not is a bit arrogant and reflects the sin of pride.
I like god. Jesus is a pretty good story. Book's too old for it to be relevant to me any more. I like all people who truly live life from a place of love, because I'm not very good at it. Amen. Ps. The only reason I clicked on this thread was so it would go away from "what's new." For those of you who did the same thing, I guess I just screwed you over.
