BonaResponds is not a Scilon Charity-inform them that its a fund raising Scam for Scientology
Claude Reggie Jean was part of Cary Goulston's pre-earthquake Dienetics scam in Haiti.
and Connected to Susan Robillard applied scholastics haiti school

from Wikipedia, don't know if it is accurate, are they a front group? too tired to dig right nao.

"Formed in late 2005 in response to the devastation on the Gulf Coast caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The organization is closely tied to Saint Bonaventure University[1] in Allegany, NY. Its members consist of current students, faculty, staff, alumni and other members of the Bonaventure and Western NY community. BonaRespond's mission is to "make the difference" by volunteering to help those in need or those who have been affected by a natural disaster."

    Hmmmm.

If Scientologiests are now trying to corrupt the minds of young orphans in Haiti, we must now ether

    A) Create a Special Black Ops Anon unit that will handle this.

    or

    B) Find a way to save them.

    I go with A.

Re: Applied Scholastics involved in "adopting" Haiti orphanage

I'mma go all Herro on you guys today...

I said some time ago that we're taking a risk by ASSUMING that every bit of scientology charity is a fraud. Certainly, it's true that all past charities we've investigated have been frauds, and it's true that LRH tech doesn't allow for true charity (as it's 'out exchange'). Nonetheless, Scientology is falling fast, and in desperate times they may cast some of the tech aside.

One bit of tech they may abandon is the idea that all charity must be fraudulent fundraising. If they really want to make us looks like dicks, they just need to do something legitimately helpful, then point to our hateful responses.

And that strategy, in the long run, would help them.

But it would also cost them money - whatever they spend on that particular bit of charity work. So their strategy can work for our strategy. As long as we don't blindly assume they're committing fraud.

We should be skeptical, do the research, look for evidence of fraud, and inform all parties involved of Scientology's history. But we should NOT assert, with complete confidence, that this is a fraud. If they're genuinely helping these children, that's good - they're incredibly poor and lucky to be alive. Pictures of the kids pushing wheelbarrows? I'd wager every kid in port au prince has pushed a wheelbarrow or dome some manual labor within the last month. They're rebuilding a fucking city. Did you know that the US had WOMEN work during WWII?!? WOMEN! In FACTORIES!

I'm not saying this is legitimate charity work. I'm just saying, a measured response is appropriate. We need to warn everyone to look out for brainwashing (certainly using LRH approved Applied Scholastics counts, but a Scientologist, being brainwashed themselves, would employ AS with genuinely good intentions, if they decided they wanted to bring education to these children - as they've been taught to believe AS /is legitimate education/).

Be skeptical. Make sure everyone involved knows what's going on. Don't let there be any secrets. And if, with complete transparency, they are still able to find people willing to fund this, and no authorities are interested in stopping it, well... maybe they made a very tough decision under incredibly harsh circumstances and said 'the alternative is worse....'
