Arrest of WBM and Lowell: Key docs and other materials for harpoons

OK, this will be a long one, but please bear with me!

This is a collection of materials to be used for harpooning media, local communities, etc. as well as places to send harpoons to. Many of these links are already buried in a 30+ page thread, so I took the important info and pasted it here.

If every person who viewed the Mark Bunker thread harpoons ONE thing from this list, then we could make a HUGE difference very quickly! DO IT FAGGOT!

PROTIP: When sending harpoons to media, comments boards, etc. don't just highlight text off of a post. Right-click on URLs and choose "Copy Link Location" so that the full URL will be pasted, instead of just pasting the site title.

    Everything is sorted in categories:

What's interesting about this is the parallels that are starting to unfold with the Riverside PD and Scientology's intimate relationships, and those of the Clearwater Scientology Corporation and the Clearwater PD.

In Clearwater we saw the local small time politicians getting on Scientology payroles followed by the local police department getting massively on Scientology payrolls -- off duty, supposedly, but still working for Scientology while both on and off duty.

Now because Anonymous has been exposing the local butt-friendships (probably financial) between Jeff Stone and Scientology at Gilman Hot Springs, we're seeing Anonymous and namefags getting treated to the same core civil rights violations by the local police that the Lisa McPherson Trust was subjected to by the Clearwater PD.

Bet you that Scientology at Gilman will purchase local Riverside PD officers more and more "off duty" and that the Officers will continue to work for Scientology and violate people's rights as local protests (ironical;ly against Scientology's rights abuses) ramp up.

Its funny, I know a Clearwater Cop. He does offduty work for CoS. He said its no different than doing offduty work for a concert or any other group that wants more security. He said something like, paraphrasing here, "Just because I work a country concert for extra money doesn't mean I like that crap."

Florida cops make crappy money, and they have families to feed and send to college. So they take extra money where they can. The offduty stuff pays great, but just cause you get pay for a job you do doesnt always mean you are in their pocket.

This is a guy that agrees that the CoS is shady as hell. He likes what Anonymous has done, but is mostly indifferent, and doesn't care much either way. We joked about the St Pete bomb scare of early Chanology. He isn't in their pocket, but he will take their money so his kids can be on the soccer team.

CWPD != corruption. Cannot blanket statement the department. It is possible out of some, but not all. Council isnt corrupt either..............they are just fucking morons.

If Clearwater were truly as corrupt as all you non CW residents think, then there would be NO CW raids. They would have been outlawed months ago.

The great thing about California is that the police must take a missing person report and you don't have to wait 24 hours and they have to give priority handling to the report. I don't know how that compares to Florida.

I don't know if Twin A filed a missing report or just had the cops check on her sister. She is still missing. The relative does not know where she is and no one has verified what Scientology has to say. The missing person bulletin has a section for "voluntary missing adults". She can produce the police report on Marc Headley and show what happens to people who try to leave on their own accord.

They need to produce the sister and I cannot stress enough that I hope Twin A has the strength to aggressively pursue this... I hope more relatives become educated on this particular subject and how to pursue it with the police department.

At least the relatives can give the Scientologist the word that they are there for them if they want to blow..and not to feel like all hope is gone.

Bullshit! What legitimate police officer does off duty work for the Gambino Mafia? The CWPD officers who work for Scientology are knowingly working for organized crime, knowingly taking money and violating the rights of local citizens, and they do it solely for the money.

Re: Arrest of WBM and Lowell: Key docs and other materials for harpoons

I don't blame a cop who makes that choice. Our crusade is not necessarily theirs. However, it raises serious issues of conflict of interest when the people who are supposed to protect the rights of everyone are also moonlighting as the paid lackeys of a totalitarian organization which is completely opposed to the whole idea of even having a society under the rule of law.

It tends to put a thumb on the scales of justice when cops depend for part of their livelihood, or at least living comfortably, on not angering a wealthy cult. That's going to tend to bias the decisions they make on the street, if they know they aren't going to get those cushy side deals if they anger Scientology.

The result is things like critics immediately arrested for the most minor infraction or, in Rivercide, for absolutely nothing, just because a cultist says so. Meanwhile, if you file a police report in Clearwater against any Scientologist, don't expect jack shit to be done about it. In fact, any evidence you submit will have a funny habit of simply disappearing. I doubt police personally do this. I suspect compromised or Scientologist support personnel; it is a routine religious obligation of Scientologists to infiltrate any agency that might oppose them. I have no reason to think they've stopped doing that after 50 years.

If one side of an issue, for no justifiable reason, but solely because of their wealth and influence, routinely gets better results than another side, then there is corruption. It doesn't mean cops are personally corrupt. I've dealt with CWPD in the past and the majority of them loathe Scientology. They live there and know the score. Except for a brief period when the LMT was in town, and IMO they felt Minton behaved insultingly and arrogantly towards them, they really do not go out of their way to do favors for the cult.

I also don't think it's possible for the council to be that stupid. They know what side their bread is buttered on.

I don't think it's that corrupt, especially compared to Rivercide. But to say there is absolutely no undue influence is simply naive and overly hopeful.

It is hardly just Scientology that gets an advantage out of these "pay to play" systems where off-duty cops work for them. Other people with questionable motives hire cops to do stuff normal security guards could do, and more often than they need to, and presumably they expect a certain unspoken quid pro quo. It's easy to do this without being able to be prosecuted for bribery, just like "campaign donations" for which you expect that politician to pick up the phone when you call, without saying a word that would make it illegal.

They should simply not let off-duty cops work doing law enforcement related duties, like these protests, where the cops get to exercise the full range of law enforcement powers to arrest protesters, while their paycheck is being paid by one side of the protest. The amount of police protection a citizen or group of citizens is entitled to should be determined by a law enforcement evaluation of how many officers public safety requires, not how much money they have to pay.

And also, they should be paid more so they don't have to. (This is probably the major reason they haven't yet passed a law to this effect even though any time the subject comes up, most people agree that there's a conflict of interest problem here; they don't want to basically punish cops for something that isn't their fault, OR cough up the money to compensate the cops for the loss of income.)

    ^^^^
You know the old addage "Just because you have the right to do something , doesn't mean doing it is right".

Turning a blind eye to the cult and their rights abuses is irresponsible and unethical . Alot of people are suffering in this economy , and being a lackey for the cult is not the only game in town for extra money . It's just easy . Theres a huge difference between working security for a shitty band , and working for a human rights abusing totalitarian organization .
I know what it's like to struggle financially , most of us do . But I'll be damned if I would work security for an organization such as this to make things a little easier . Call me a moral fag if you like but a line needs to be drawn .

I wouldn't work for a Neo-Nazi or 'skinhead' group, no matter how good the pay. It comes down to my integrity as a person, and I know that I will not support groups that have hateful ideology, or groups that practice human rights abuses, period.
