That is why I have been repeatedly trying to request that a Mod add the threads that precede all this current speculation to the Situation Room.

They explain her mindset and actions step by step.

She shouldn't have to explain things again and again.
It's all been posted here from the beginning.

And all the Anon's that have helped keep her computer connected should be thanked.

nobody wants more explanations of mindsets... that's what we call anecdotal evidence. i agree with top grunge that police reports would be a good first step, if they are available.

I give up trying to convince anyone of anything. Police report situation has already been explained by BBJ.

Just read the threads.

The progression of the threads plus the local Anon's verification are enough for me.

If it all turns out to be a hoax, what's lost? Just another lesson learned.

Just let her get through the holidays. She has kids and is in a vulnerable postion on all fronts.

She's taken us through things step by step through her postings.
Let her get past the verdict in January on the Personal Injury lawsuit.
If she wins, I suspect that she will be a very active poster here due to the abilty to upgrade her computer.

In the spirit of the season-
Can't you just give her the next few weeks free of harassment & sarcasm.

She originally signed on to this forum not asking for anything, but to say take you to Anon's.

Sometimes the benefit of the doubt is rewarded.

Yeah, I agree with Buttons. If it's a troll don't you think her local anons would make life a living hell for her when it all came out?

I think it's real. It's just gone on for so long some people are getting antsey. (Ok the laundering money at the landremat thing is funny, I admit, but it may have just been a misunderstanding.)

Yeah, to be honest, I'm skeptical of the laundering stuff just based on the fact that it's difficult to prove and there aren't publicly available dox. But at this point, our opinions on that don't really matter much since we're not really being asked for help with that. We know that the case itself is at least partially authentic as confirmed by GB, and when/if dox surface because shit meets fan, then it'll be time to act.

Look, when I was doing my "vetting" I thought the laundry mat thing was just too odd too. I'm not a legal or business mind so I went to one that was. I gave a hypothetical situation "say, if the Feds and SEC are doing an investigation, why would they be all enthralled over papers that show a "church" group (I did not mention the so called church) had purchased a chain of laundry mats?"

My friend laughed his ass off at what he felt was my great stupidity...then proceeded to explain the laundry mat business and how it could be used for not so legal purposes and how it would be very hard to prove it based on the nature of the business.

As for the Travelocity thing, people seem to want things handed to them on a silver platter. NOT going to happen. There is enough information given here that a market savvy person with a trading research account CAN track that back. For a person who knows what they're doing, it's not rocket science.

And Skeptic, I am probably the only person on here banned due to a post in the DOME (thanks to your white ass tattling). If you were half as clever as you think you are I'd not know you were fucking trolling. That's like Daywatch saying he found the Lord and turned over a new leaf. Who do you think YOU'RE kidding?

For the slow or those who just refuse to read I will go back over the assault thing. When this happened FIN had no way of knowing that the man who assaulted her was the subject of assault investigations and actions in other states. The name that he is known by in one state is NOT his real name and FIN has been asked NOT to dox the assault because of that...and some other ongoing investigation in another state (there are now three agencies involved in this) which FIN knew nothing about when SHE was assaulted.

What you all are supposing is that an entire cell of ANON are not clever enough to do their homework, that among us we do not have a SKEPTIC or a DAYWATCH type character who would sniff it out and blast it out if it did not come out right. That is a foolish assumption.

There are also some critical thinking skills missing here, what's the motive? FIN has not attempted to DOX a single one of us, she is not physically capable of chasing or following us, she is not doing ANYTHING even remotely suspicious, she comes to the protests despite the physical difficulty of doing so. She is hardly living in the lap of luxury, she never asks personal questions, never. Not one single person in her city has been C&Dd by the cult, hell they cannot even follow us, and it's possible that it's because between us we are too smart to get caught???? So, what's the motive, you want to have a crime Skeptical Pooks, provide the motive.

Ok, if every single thing that has happened, every time the police were called, the legal stuff in Florida, everything is a piece of this grand case, and thus, off limits, then that's all I needed to know. I appreciate the locals doing their homework, and it seems there are at least 2 (Buttons, BBJ) who vouch for the local stuff. I'll STFU about this dox stuff until further notice.

oh, and Daywatch wanted to let everyone know he won't be back...he found the Lord.

it's not a big deal... no one is exempt from dox or stfu. if they're not coming, they're not -- but people will continue to ask and going on ten pages of rants against trolls and OSA is not a reassuring response, imo.

I'm not sure why this discussion is going on - I mean this situation room itself. It was originally set up (if I remember correctly) because FIN needed help identifying an assailant. Apparently that's been done. BBJ, no offense, but why go on and on trying to defend someone who has a federal case (and some locals) going on when to do so might compromise the situation if too much info was revealed. My radar initially went up a while ago when it appeared that in many, if not every, post FIN was mentioning how she didn't have money, etc. and many sent her money even though suggestions by other Anons (myself included) that included utilizing services available were ignored. Guess what? A lot of Anons have lost their jobs recently, are college students, etc. We're spending our money fighting a cult in which we were never part of. FIN WAS. It's not a competition to see ZOMG who is braver, but come on? I've done quite a bit of research on the whole Travelocity thing. Skeptic had most info right, but I found some additional interesting info that make me suspect the strength of the connection. PS: TRAVELOCITY WAS CREATED IN 1996. I doubt they did that a whole decade in advance of FIN leaving. Unfortunately, Skep doesn't have PMs turned on, so I couldn't clarify the info I found with what Skeptic found. That said - laundromat = funnier than hell, no matter WHAT your business friend told you, Travelocity = a bit sketchy, requests for monetary assistance = raised flags from SEVERAL Anons, not just domers. Feds not offering protection= suspicious. The attack on Pooks and anyone else asking for dox seems way out of proportion. No one says it's not true. The one thing I admire most about Anons is their ability to probe/question everything. That's probably helped keep MANY Anons safe. Instead of rambling on and on about how you believe her, and instead of attacking Pooks and others, just drop it already. If/when the cases are resolved, let us know the results. Methinks you're beginning to doth protest too much.

I agree with the sentiment of this. There's really not much more to be said about this. However, I think it's misleading to blame fIN et al for bringing stuff like this up. From everything I've seen, this has only become an issue after Pooks fagged up threads by asking for dox, even after fIN told people to stfu. fIN et al seem to be good at being quiet, but Pooks has repeatedly brought up the issue out of nowhere.
