I didn't hear a knifing threat, but he was threatening a FBI agent's kids because of the agent's legal actions. Never say "Fuck You" to the FBI.

The irony of his comment once is still not lost on me. History wants it that my ancestors as Lt-Colonel and conservator were involved in both quelling the Moroccan rebellion and the rise of Franco and the rojo's. It was probably an educated comment as his doxing skills obviously reach beyond often unwritten history, sharp observation.

Coming from your "fifth column" friends Mr Brown: This had been coming for a long time, I'm confident you will spin recent events into a sense of persecution for the grand work and contributions --to Anonymous and other such online non collectives-- you've made. You will machinate that it wasn't your own failure to remain civil -- a concept seemingly foreign to you -- modest, fair and adequate in judgement, but most of all guided by ethics and morality.

Instead you will paint yourself the victim of the flaking Boun Fresco you see as your nation state, lashing out in despair, convinced the end times near as canvas of the world you see around you frays.

You couldn't have been more detrimental to any of the causes you have been involved with had you tried. Your contributions driven as a megalomaniac not by the ambition to correct wrongs, not to construct rights or durable foundations for future generations. It would be normal for him to be transferred to federal custody. Sometimes, federal custody is in a state prison, and the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator can be pretty sluggish about updating such transfers.

If he's in a federal facility, I'd expect to see it on the Inmate Locator in a day or so.

Brown’s mug shot and a brief profile were posted on the Dallas County Jail Lookup System’s website momentarily on Wednesday before his status was updated to read “in transit.” Thursday morning, Brown’s information disappeared from the database and the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas confirmed that the suspect had been taken into federal custody to make a court appearance that afternoon. The Dallas County clerk’s office was uncertain if Brown would be arraigned immediately, but said he was scheduled to have his charges read and be presented with an attorney. RT was directed to the US Attorney’s Office in Dallas for more information preceding the court appearance but our calls have not immediately been returned.

Attorney Jay Leiderman, a California-based lawyer that has provided legal assistance and representation to accused members of Anonymous in the past, confirms that Brown was apprehended over alleged threats made against an FBI officer. Brown went before a magistrate on Thursday afternoon and was ordered to be held without bail.

If convicted of making a threat made against a federal law enforcement officer with intent to retaliate against the performance of official duties, Brown could be sentenced to no more than 10 years in prison.

I could not watch more than a few minutes of these recent vids due to Barrett Brown's near continuous rambling asides. Does he ever get to the fucking point?

I saw a couple of his vids a while back that were much more focused and concise and occasionally funny.

Maybe he has some kind of slow progressive brain rot, like mad cow disease? Or maybe he has been trolled really hard with the Zetas thing, then somebody hit a nerve by bringing his mum into it? I understand that in Texas people lose their shit when anyone threatens their mamas.

No excuse for vague threats against the FBI though. The Feds need our respect --broad public respect-- in order to do their jobs.
