The last three digits in any federal inmate's number dictate what court processed them. "Where they were snagged." Arrested in Maryland, 038 and so forth. 177 is the number used for Texas and it is a BOP related number. One that does not exist in any capacity.

They're even allowed to keep things for a very very long time. In rare cases, they can keep them permanently (example: drugs and money earned through drug sales) or destroy them (same examples apply).

Just to be complete- the US Marshal's service can keep people incommunicado for days by keeping them "in transit" ie on board aircraft traveling from hither to yon. It happens. They can detain them longer.

Shooting FBI agents for trying to detain you =/= self defense nor does is give you any reason to go on YT and state that you would kill a law enforcement officer / FBI agent for entering your home when obviously they have every reason too.
