Ready. I hope it didn't get too messed up.

For four of them with a number below 100 the generated link to the petition site was not right, I edited those by hand.

Now checking completions date etc. etc. will hopefully be a little easier. Would be nice if 44 from the names could be added before March 29th, 2015, as this would mean we hit 2,500 before Going Clear. :)

ok, have any of these been posted over on ESMB with an urgent Halp?

another link for Volney Mathison - FDA dox

We don't have Alphia Hart on the list? hold on.....
So he was in before the term Scientology?
"Mr. Hart was Office Manager for Hubbard’s Communications Office in Phoenix, Arizona, during 1952. Hubbard at this time was searching for a substitute name for Dianetics. Hart suggested that the process of treatment be called Scientology. Hubbard several months later began using the term “Scientology.”
he had become involved in Dianetics and had taken every course that existed at the time. In 1952
also he was the person behind that newsletter the Aberee, where we got lots of names
"And that’s when Alphia began putting together his newsletter, The Aberree"

Like Mathison, I think he needs to be on the list! He says he invented the name Scientology!

I don't understand. How would it help?

Until now I asked on ESMB every now and then to give confirmation someone was in. The names on the petition however have all been confirmed to be in completions.

We don't know for sure if person X who signs the petition is the same as person X in completions and we'll never know for sure.

People on ESMB may be able to give more details for person X, as in "he was in FCDC" or "he did the Purif". Until now however I have not got very much feedback from ESMB in that regard.

I know it's a tedious job but I'm afraid all we can do now is go through the names using the three link posts I provided.

Problem is, we have no way of knowing if the people on the petition are the same people in completions without any more sauce.
I don't feel comfortable adding names just because the name matches completions. If it is an unusal name there is a better chance that it is the same name in completions. If it is a common name, then we are screwed unless someone else can confirm that the person left the COS!

I just did this. I still had a file with names for whom there were cookie cutter sites. It was from 2011 but I don't think much was added. However, sites that existed back then may now not be around anymore.

These are the names with their petition number, for whom there are no completions, but there was a cookie cutter site.

    dan barnes 1286 "dan barnes"

    Grant Martin 1340 "grant martin"

    John Harrison 5037 "john harrison"
ETA: extra proof he was in

    Kenneth Robinson 5462 "kenneth robinson"

    Kevin Johnson 7788 "kevin johnson"

    LISA JOHNSON 4340 "lisa johnson"

    Mike Foster 4227 "mike foster"

    Mike McCoy 8225 "mike mccoy"

    Scott Williams 1513 "scott williams"

    Shaun Hart 8817 "shaun hart"
Has been put on the list

    Shaun Hart 8821 "shaun hart"
Has been put on the list

    tony johnson 8660 "tony johnson"

    william anthony 3142 "william anthony"

    william anthony 4529 "william anthony"

    So that's 12 unique names. :)

I had a PM via ESMB about Peter Lewis from someone I won't name.

So I'd say scratch him until proven otherwise.

    So epic!
Even moar epic!! Yes on Hart from me :)
Not to demean 12 signatures, but such a blast from the the past, 52 years ago in January 1963!! As Tony Ortega said, "It’s interesting to us to see an early Dianetics supporter arguing that the problem with Scientology was its leader"

I think it's telling that Alphia Hart stopped writing The Aberree just a year after that.

Heh. Just being bored I clicked on the above google search link for Shaun. And guess what: I now also have a blog comment he made on Geir Isene's blog:

Here is the link to a Don Carlo post on OCMB for proof he had a cookie cutter site:

Would this one be the first to qualify? :p

I vote yes on this because it's enough evidence that the page existed, and especially since the CoS probably got it taken down (before the wayback machine was around to archive it)

her completions started in 1988. Do you think it matches her pic? (which can be younger pic too) I can't tell from her picture
  32. TrevAnon Member

  33. TrevAnon Member

1988 is 27 years ago. She looks to me like between 45 and 55 but I'm terribly bad at estimating ages. (I'm sure she is quite offended now. :p ). In 1988 she would have been between 18 and 28. So yeah, I think it could be.

Scratch this one. Different Mark Murray
"Murray, a native Texan, is a 1996 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin"

The Mark Murray in completions went Clear in 1983.
