    I just finished resurrecting over 100 links in the list. What used to be the panic of loss followed by gratitude of recovery has, thanks to the Wayback Machine, become such tedium :rolleyes:

    Edit: we're into a new page of this thread, so a reminder of the total count: 2781

  5. I don't know if he is already on, but if he is here are some new links.

    Jeff Carlson

    Jeff Carlson Scientology Service Completions:

    A (I don't know if this is the same person) Jeff Carlson is mentioned in "Timeline and Scientology Cover-Up":

    Jeff has a new YouTube channel - My Clarity After Scientology -

    First two videos:

    He wasn't on the list before now, and what he says in his videos matches the Perkins story timeline.

  8. Does actor Jeffrey Tambor qualify?

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    At one point, Tambor turned to the Church of Scientology and took classes for two years. He recalls, "I felt that love, I inhaled it. ... I was totally willing to accept Scientology — if it would fix me." Despite liking the "edginess" of it being frowned upon and being treated to celebrity privileges within the church like private doorways and deluxe classrooms, Tambor left the church abruptly. He did not cut ties after being conned out of thousands of dollars, but when he was pressured to leave his second wife.

  9. More detail:

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    He talks about the special, ego-feeding treatment he received within the confines of Scientology as a treasured celebrity, and recounts the startling about-face his religious mentors took when he started resisting further immersion (and further payment) into the organization. When a “Senior Ethics Officer” (who Tambor observes looked like Opie from The Andy Griffith Show) called him in to ask him to “disconnect” from his wife, Tambor responded with, “Guess what line you just crossed.” And with that, he was out, slamming the door behind him, never to return to Scientology again.

    * * * * * END EXCERPT * * * * *

  10. Still more detail.

    Actor Jeffrey Tambor left Scientology when his wife was deemed a “suppressive person."

    Booklist Review: Are You Anybody?

    * * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

    Tambor is candid about the unhappiness of his childhood as well as his own missteps, from admitting that taking a role onstage in the musical La Cage aux Folles was a mistake to delving into his time as a Scientologist, before his wife Kasia was deemed a “suppressive person” and he left the organization.

    * * * * * END EXCERPT * * * * *

  12. Just in case this counts (instead of showing up in completions list):
    Ray Bolzhauser is shown in a short TV interview. Says he was fed up when people were not allowed to leave the room before 100k funds are raised.

    Being interviewed (and presumably vetted as formerly in) separately by two news entities is definitely enough to qualify for the big list :)

    He has now spoken out on Nolch's Indie podcast, although the exact year he was declared wasn't mentioned.
    • Andrew Fleisher - OT VI, staff for 17 years 1975-92, Guardian's Office for 5 years February 1977-October 1982, FSM, declared, RPF (Clearwater 1980s), Stevens Creek, Santa Clara July 1973-75, San Diego California 1975-77, Saint Hill UK, FSO 1982-88, Sydney 1988-92 - audio interview

    • Ian Cedric Kolbinskie - aka VookRaps, Sev7enEleven - left after 16 years - Clearwater - blog post, forum post
    Not in Completions so we may need moar sauce he was in. He posted to reddit: IamA EX-SCIENTOLOGIST AMA and linked to his twitch livestream from a comment in it. I've no idea how to link to a Twitch stream after it is live. He mentions his real name in a reddit comment

    I may have a new one. Question though: does being mentioned as having read Leah's book on and rating it the maximum number of stars count as speaking out...? :confused:
  19. Incredulicide Member

    It's equivalent to the people we've added who thumbs upped facebook posts critical of Scientology, so yes, even if goodreads doesn't require a review to accompany the rating (although that would be better).

    • Susan Hine (spelling?) - left after 5 years - 2011-2016 - video interview
    Another person not in the completions database.. should we consider this "School Project" by Melanie Lennon has done its due diligence to verify Susan was in? Also I don't want to rely on youtube's auto-generated captions for the spelling of her last name, so MOAR SAUCE *sigh*
  24. Those look like scripted, staged interviews for a school project, which is why they put "documentary" in quotations.

    Hey Incred. :) I wouldn't dare go there but maybe you would dare sum up all the additions until now from the moment RightOn took a break including numbers? I guess I wouldn't want to take the heat. :p

    Or maybe just give a count. :D

    Won't be adding her till there's a definite indication that "Ash" is not the middle name of the Scientologist Linda Bornstein in the database, perhaps from Kate? The cookie cutter site is no help on this at all as usual.
  33. Incredulicide Member

    Total count is now at 2790

    RightOn was last seen 21 names ago.
  34. Incredulicide Member

    Looks more like the Scientologist interviewed demanded to have her footage removed after she found out the former member was also going to be in it, then the producer stepped in and read the transcript of her interview as her according to the credits.

    There is no mention of someone "playing" the ex-Scientologist in the credits so she's likely to be legit.

    Extra link for Silvia Kusada - Audio interview

    If someone feels like listening to 3 hours of woo to find out if she reveals any more info about herself worth adding to her entry (locations), go ahead. I just.. just can't.

    We used to have a party for every 100th ex to be added, so 10 more. :p

    Thanks. :)

  38. Don't know where you got the idea I gave 5k to the IAS. I was a starving staff member when I was in and never gave 5 cents to the IAS.

    Oh, and I live in San Jose, not Santa Cruz..... About 30 miles north :)

  39. Incredulicide Member

    Thank you for the corrections, the amount was likely a misinterpretation of buying the "Honor Roll" status, but I've since learned you can also get that status by recruiting 20+ people into Scientology. Was it the San Jose Org you were staff at?

    The Santa Cruz location in this case refers to a W.I.S.E. business location according to the same database that the other information is from. Please let us know if you are not the person of the same name with that business in 2001.
