LOL! Had to look up what this meant. :p

On a more serious note: if there are more reconnect-magazines like the one you posted about before I'd be happy to go through them. Just point me where to find the PDF's and I guess we can work out who does which one. :)

I have gone through those Ivys a LONG time ago, which is where a lot of the names on the list came from. I have to get you the main ling later.
And I was just on it earlier today. There are a ton od names on couse completions lists that are prolly listed earlier in this thread.
    have to fly right now

also I had a thought to cross reference some of the names with IAS patron lists ans such, but don't think that would work since the names are so old.

We need to post these names where they can be identified by some older European scilons.
I think Terril Park can help?
    list on ESK or OCB?

    Thanks ^^^

Ok, again first results. I took however a different approach using some LibreOffice Calc wizardry.

On http://ivymag.org/authors.html there is a list of all authors who ever contributed to the magazine.

    Steps:
    - I deleted the doubles and the names that were obvious not real persons.
    - I compared (exact name by name search) the remaining names with the completions database AND
    - I compared (exact name by name search) with our list

I now had 30 people who ARE in the completions but ARE NOT on our list (again: exact name search, so robert <> bob and william <> bill).

Going through these names and deleting e.g. bob who is on the list as robert then gave me:

    Code:
Bull, Mike And there are universes 64 21 03
Carr, David Black Fives and TROM 38 12 98
    Ross, Bob ... David Mayos Newsletter 13 13 93
    Jones, Tony Letter extract 3 18 91
Moore, David What I have gained from Dianetics 48 13 00
Smith, Barbara Few words on things seeming out of reach, A 59 04 02
Krause, Rolf Lisa McPherson article (readers letter on) 69 13 04
Wright, Allen Power Tapes, interviews with John McMasters 23 29 95
    Barkley, Rowland Fire Walking 21 24 95
Moubray, Andy Christmas message, reply 62 17 03
Renshaw, Ken Three dimensional tone scale 35 17 98
    Anderson, Judith Aust & NZ Clearing Conference nov 1996 30 32 97
Alexander, John Asking the right questions (book review) 61 19 03
    Nicholson, Randy Havingness - postulates (Hav. S. - 2) 53 15 01

If you would agree that publishing in Ivy is like speaking out there are 14 more names for the list.

    Can I haz check now?

when you say completions, do you mean Ivy completions only?
are any of them in the COS data bank (doubtful) or anywhere else?

there are some people who joined the Freezone who were never in COS
so you have to prove they were once in
  15. TrevAnon Member

I meant COS completions, not Ivy completions. They were all in COS completions.

    hey! holy crap!
man WWP has been wonky today?

so wow what is going on?
Someone has been a busy bee!
    :)

I was going to work on the author's list, so I guess I don't have to now.
So I will work on something else, but I have to know what is left in the Ivy to do if anything
  30. TrevAnon Member

The author's list is done. Haven't checked the rest of the site.
  31. RightOn Member

well I dont' want both of us checking it at the same time. We won't know what each other is doing and would be sill if we werer doing double work.
So I have a little time this morning and later today.
  32. RightOn Member

the wiki is still at 1600.
Lets let the wikiers catch up with names
Are they completely clear on who needs to be added?
Looking through the posts, it's a little daunting.

Maybe put an ADD THIS NAME OR ADD THESE NAMES with confirmed names and whatever posts we can edit?

    EDITED:
Ok I edited my posts to show the above.
That way it isn't too confusing.

All the other names still need confirmations by an ex (S).
Has anyone cross posted the names still in question on other boards?
I do not have an account over on ESMB
  33. TrevAnon Member

I do have an account there but I'm confused as to what names still need confirmation. Can you put it all together in one post?
  34. RightOn Member

    this list
  35. RightOn Member

Trev, can you also edit all the names you posted with ADD THIS NAME OR ADD THESE NAMES in bold before your posts are uneditable?
so the wikiers know which ones to add to the list?
  36. RightOn Member

ok I am currently working on this list, so don't work on the same one this time
