"I have helped (I hope) with the help of many others to free almost 40,000 people from the Hubbardian trap." page 11,

That's a nice number, now we just need their names..

    Page 12-13:
"I and several other Scio's had dinner with Chuck and Ava Berner at the Forrest Row Hotel, it was June 1964, the night before Chuck and Ava were to meet with LRH to go over this new discovery they made to do with study.
Imagine the shock we had when LRH told us in a the lecture that night that he had made a momentous discovery in the field of study.
The data he gave was almost word for word with what the Berners had discussed with us the previous night. There was no mention of the Berners who were in the audience.

I believe that is the moment that LRH went to the dark-side."

It's interesting to see the different times when various people who were around Hubbard think he "changed" for the worse. When added together, the conclusion is easy: he was never good.

A quote from the new link for his story:
"Probably all who read this know of the Sea Org practice of throwing people overboard. We of course had to follow suit, but being away from the sea, how could we? Well, we had a flat roof to the factory. When somebody had to be "overboarded" we all went up to the roof with buckets of water, and threw them at the victim who was fully clothed."

Is she fully out? Hopefully she recants this statement Scientologists got her to sign:

    YES she is out.
also from Gottabrain in the other thread
"Back then, when she still had days she was sharp, Alice stated directly to me, her brother and Kooka that she wanted to go to the police and report what the Church of Scientology did to her. Alice did report this to the AFP while she was in Australia. She is - for all intents and purposes - an ex who has spoken out."

the statement she signed with the COS was under duress

fify :) There's no mistake to us that's the case, I just want it to be officially acknowledged with a criminal conviction against the Scientologists that abducted her to sign the statement they wrote.

Don't forget to include her brother, Jack Wu. (Note, Jack/Jake and Alice/Alicin are their Anglo-cised names, not their birth names). Jack did a basic course or two and has posted publicly in Taiwan through CCAS. :) It's somewhere on those threads. Jack's a great guy.
  33. Anonymous Member

I need help. CCAS = "Canberra Contemporary Art Space" or "Christian County Animal Shelter" or ..?
  34. Gottabrain Member

lol, I've actually forgotten the meaning of the acronym myself! CCAS is not in Australia, btw.
  35. Anonymous Member

Ok, I give up. Someone else will need to find the link to "somewhere on those threads".
  36. Gottabrain Member

Well thank goodness ESMB put all the threads together and that helps.

Here we go, very first post on this thread. This is from Jack Wu (called Jake here). He also confirmed with me that he wrote this, that he personally contacted CCAS and asked for some Australian media attention to his sister, and that he intends to sue. He posted this on the company's COMMUNITY PAGE (public media):

    Victim's brother Jake:

    Good 'nuff? :)

Actually I was looking for evidence of the assertion that he "did a basic course or two", and this seems to rule out any possibility he did.
  38. Gottabrain Member

He told me he did. That's how Alice got introduced to it. The Taiwanese COS has him in their files and were contacting him, even offered to pay for his r/t ticket to Australia and escort him around (ugh!). Jack refused. When he FIRST arrived he still sort of liked Scn. That changed almost immediately.

We need to link in to the Taiwan COS names somehow. Bust this thing wide open.

I believe he also said the father was the first one who was involved with COS in Taiwan but I'm not sure, will verify it and let you know.

This is good enough for me. It'd be nice to get more info for the bold bits of the format we include in our entries, i.e:
    • Jack Wu - aka Jake Wu - left after X years/months - names of courses taken/positions held, Taiwan - forum post, video interview
