Idea for UK cells, looking at what happened to epicnoseguy the signs used are very borderline when it comes to the public order act section 5 (Anonymous is making legitimate point but is seen as defamation).

We [STRIKE]believe[/STRIKE] know we are right because we are using words like cult with dox as proof but the public and more importantly the police don't know this and aren't interested in seeing dox. The signs should be sensitive to this.

Something along the lines of 'Think the word cult is extreme? Let us prove otherwise'. Even if the public don't come and see fliers etc it shakes the idea that we are throwing words out carelessly for attention.

They claim offence 1b we defend with defence c

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

There was a neat page-sized printout that someone made up and posted on a Freezone list, side-by-side pictures of Goebbels and Miscavige, and darned if they don't look alike! Same haircut even.

I'd post a JPG of that here, but it looks like the best way to post images here is through ImageShack, and I don't have an account there yet. Working...

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

I had a little bit of police hassle once, but I now use a sign with two pieces of board, back-to-back. If the cops don't like something my sign says, I can always flip it over to something else, which is a hell of a lot simpler than getting v&.

BTW, although the word 'cult' can be a sensitive issue, I've never had a problem with including it on a sign where it's part of a URL (for example, badcult dot info). Perhaps they feel that if a website is offensive, the scilons should go after it on their own time, and not leave a copper to decide.
  9. Re: When is an org not an org?

Yes there are certain things that an org must have to be an org. Certain auditors trained to a certain level for instance. There are other qualifications as well but I've been out of the cult for so long that I am not sure anymore what they might be.

As for the docs and references; I'm sure someone out there has something that is up to date.

Below the status of an org were such things as Missions, Dianetics Groups, City Offices, Gung-Ho Groups, Forming Orgs, and such.

As more time goes by; I seem to forget a lot of the Scientology organizational nonsense that was once second nature to me. That is a good thing.

Ignore if this has already been posted.

Whenever you get junk mail, save the prepaid return envelopes and stuff them with flyers and mail them. Someone will at least see them.

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

    video idea.

Close up Head shot of a Man in mask. Man says "we don't believe in burning books".
    Steps back from camera.
Holds up a copy of Scientology in one hand and a can of lighter fluid in thee other.
Puts book on the ground. Strays with lighter fluid.
Strikes a match and drops it setting the book on fire.
Man says "like i said, we don't believe in burning books"
Then man stands close to the fire.
Unzips his fly and urinates on the fire putting it out.
Zoom in on the burnt and damp book(showing the title)
Finish with anon mask and a voice saying
"Anonymous. Doing it for the Lulz"...

PROTIP: Was over at kickme.to, a URL forwarder service, and noticed they added a ton of new forwarder domains that could be used on raid flyers/posters to point people to that odd-ball document buried in someone's archive or some new site you made, but the URL's to long. The possibilities are endless. Use your imagination.

Here's a partial list of some .it domains. I think they have about 250 different URLs to choose from (and I believe you get 6 per email account)

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

Would it be worth doing an ebook on Paulette Coopers experience at the hands of Scientology?
There is probably enough material available online to complile a decent story.

It would be a good intro for the general public on how Scientology operates.

I did a cover idea for it.
  16. Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

Geeze, that cover is so good it could be used as a flyer. All it would need to make it flyer ready is the inclusion of a few websites.

    Good work!

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

Had an idea last night. I'm sure it's a bit ambitious, but I'm gonna toss it out and let it get torn to threads anyway. Why not make an info packet that's easy to print out, and mail to random people? Could just open a local phone book, and mail to as many people as one saw fit. Off the top of my head info packet ideas could be something like "Get informed" and have places people could look online to make their own choice. Could be something detailing the crimes of scientology. Haven't fully thought it through yet, but there we go. Could maybe even send it out, or even just point out all the tax info from the cult and say "if you think this should change meet here at a local time" Could maybe pull a second call to arms in a different way. So that's about that.

    JUNK MAIL 4 JESUS
  19. Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

I kinda like the idea. I've sort of done it myself. I didn't make an info pack; I just mailed a couple of flyers with a plug for a couple of websites. Nothing too wordy but just a flyer with a simple message. Money keeps me from doing more than a couple of mailings every now and then. If everybody just mailed one flyer to just one person; that might be something.

You could consider it a "message in a bottle". Just another small addition to all the other things one does to protest but not the "be all and end all" of anything.

I don't think I'll make an info pack though; too much stuff to inflict on someone. I also never mention Anonymous in my flyers; just Scientology and a few critic websites. It's the websites that I want them to see anyway.

Scientologists think Anonymous are a Hate group.

What about signs that say "We Love You"
  21. JohnnyRUClear Member

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

Been done, but no harm in a rerun. It'll work best for signs facing the cult, obviously; signs facing traffic should probably have a different message -- or not; your call. :)

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

Another sign i haven't seen(so far) would be: "We care more than you know"

    Another subject:
How would scientologists react if we called them, or refered to them, as "customers"?
Would it get under their skin, or break their illusion?
  24. Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

If you had called me that when I was a Scientologist--it wouldn't have bothered me one bit. I saw myself that way in the first place and expected good service of sorts from the church. Hubbard also wrote policies about running an org that sounded just like he was talking about a service industry, so, in a way I was primed by the man himself to think that way. I also thought of Scientology as a religion too. I was a customer and a member of a religion all at the same time. That's how I thought at the time.

Now if it was said in a sarcastic manner that would have been different. I probably just would have dug my heels in.

    FOLLOW THE MONEY

I'd suggest a new Forum for the above. I'd volunteer to collate any info gleaned from news items, ex-Co$ members, corporate reports etc, into a 'money path'.

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

not a brain storm by any means, but just a lulzy idea that I am sure most of you will think sucks.
I think it kinda sucks myself.

    Annnnnyways...
I saw an add for Dominoes pizza the other night on TV and they are asking for people to take pictures of a Dominoes pizza and send it in.
Would be lulzy with an Anon mask in the center?
DM's or TD's head on all the peperoni slices?

Of course the downfall is that you would have to actually buy a Dominoes pizza. Well you wouldn't have to eat it I guess.
But I don't what their rules are. Didn't look into it.
So I dont' know how they would know if it is a Dominoes pizza or not.

YouTube Video Idea -LRH Nigger Cleaning Service.
    -------------------

Show footage of a woman scubbing a floor.

    A voice over says
"You shouldn't be scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees. Get yourself a nigger; that's what they're born for"

A picture of Hubbard appears on the screen with Nigger Cleaning Services written below it.

    A voice over says
"Nigger Cleaning Services - Brought to you by L Ron Hubbard, the man who invented Scientology."

YouTube Video Idea - "Women - Know Your Place..."
    -------------------

The content of this article would make for a good spoof video for YouTube. It show the sexism in Hubbtards writing that has been removed in later editions of his published work.

The Church of Scientology does not want you to see L. Ron Hubbard's woman-hatin' book chapter - Kansas City News - Plog

It includes such pearls of wisdom as:
    and

I think a video similar in style to this one by British comedian Harry Enfield would get quite good viewing numbers.

YouTube Video Idea - "Hair Transplants For The Stars..."
    -------------------

This is a spoof advert for hair transplants/weaves that mentions a few of its customers, this is intended to highlight that John Travolta is using hair transplants.

    Voice over -
"Are you worried about hair loss?
As you get older, do you find your hairline receding?
Don't Worry, something can be done about it.
At Hollywood Hair Transplant we specialize in hiding the signs of ageing,

We are consumate proffessionals and have 40 years of experience in the industry, with a customer list that runs from Phil Spector to John Travolta.

We need a linguistic flag. A paragraph, or two at most, of our purpose, and accomplishments - identity, and origin. Purpose? To give a quick, "definition" by which those not versed in our progress (and us) to know us and remember us by- and for those who do, to be updated and informed. Something to be copied and around by users far and wide, this is what we need.

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

I am not american but could we organise a large scale campaign of people all asking for the details of the IRS-Scientology deal under the Freedom Of Information rules.

There would need to be a guide produced so people will know what to put in the FOI request.

How about a Big List of ex-OTs (III or higher, obviously) who have publicly vouched for the fact that OT III = Xenu?

But Xenu is no longer a big deal....or maybe s/he is to the newly informed. I have to think about this.

Do a video listing the claims of assults and violent acts committed by David Miscavige and call it Mad Dog Miscavige.

    or

just refer to DM as Mad Dog Miscavige whenever you mention his name.

(Someone may have said this) At protests, should we avoid loaded words? (Like Ocult and such, y'know stuff you see in youtube comments)

    Re: Brainstorm Megathread!

    Do a Facebook group called
"I read the Xenu story and i didn't die"

see how many people you can get to join.
