Solutions thus far:

1. Call the police and complain a la San Francisco.
2. Hold "Why is this Scientologist lying?" or "Brainwashed cultist here" signs above them.
3. Be conversational with them until they leave. Possible pressure points are: Hubbard dying with an arse full of vistaril, your family still loves you, or 'does this seem religious to you? Hmm?'

4. BEST - Bring a paper copy of OTIII or OT VIII. Bring all of them if you can. Ask them which ones they'd like to hear. Then start reading, clearly and loudly. They will HAVE to leave. If they try and get the cops to pick you up for having copyrighted material, tell the cops they're lying - you downloaded it from Wikileaks and have it under fair use.

tl;dr - Best solution is to talk at them until they leave.

Noise laws have rational limits. You dont need a boombox to nail these mother fuckers.

Transfer a damning portion of OT3 to your mobile phone and use its speakers on full to play it. You dont need to hit a crowd with it, just one guy. Get within a few feet and nail him with audio thetans.

Hit these fuckers with a sting operation. Have an unmasked anon come on the scene and take one of the assholes flyers, have their mobile phone in their shirt pocket set to record audio. Ask them if they are members of anonymous. The result can/ will be used when presenting this attempt at supression of free speech and dead agenting to the press and public. Can be videod from distance and audio from phone synced up after. This can be turned to epic win. It might be even better if you could get a journalist to turn up and they are willing to ask the kid for a flyer and ask the kid why he joined anonymous.

Oh god, shut up. Calling them a liar is just about the stupidest shit you can do, because 1: They aren't specifically lying. They aren't claiming to be from Anonymous, and all of the quotes on the flier are actual quotes, although many are taken out of context/don't relate to Chanology Anonymous.

and 2: If you had learned FUCKING ANYTHING from this ENTIRE CAMPAIGN, you would know exactly the effect of calling somebody speaking ill of you a liar with no direct evidence to support this.

Simply make a sign that says "This Man is a Scientologist."

They won't take it as "OH, HE IS SCIENTOLOGIST THEREFORE, EVIL".

They will think: "Scientologist >> Passing out fliers that paint a bad picture of Anonymous, enemies of Scientology... hmm..."

You shouldn't NEED to say "This Man is a Liar", because any person with half a brain could tell that that flier is really odd-sounding, and if you let them know that he is a scientologist and not a member of you group, that'll just drive it home.

I've got bad news for you sunshine.

The scilons are handing out fliers on a semi daily basis. They aren't waiting for your flash raids. I've seen this for myself.

There are a number of effective sollutions to this problem. The gentleman who mentioned OTIII audio has a very good idea.

I'm also in favor of cloning the cover of the flier, changing the text, and filling the inside with anti-scilon propaganda. Doing so would effectively negate their own black PR. (The usual stuff, Lisa's murder, Tales of the Evil Dwarf. LRH's Vistaril Overdose, etc...just don't mention Anonymous. This isn't about us, its about them.)

This is so childish of them, and Anon shouldn't come close to stooping to their level and pretending to be them. "We are the hate machine rar!" So freakin what? We aren't the tax exempt murderous business, they are. Add impersonating protesters to the long list of footbullets on what is passed out and keep spreading word about Co$. Or ask, "Is this what you joined a religion to do?"

Downside to all this is the public are just confused as to what to believe from those masked people. Are they against Anon or Co$??? That could hurt the message, which again OT reading should help.

1) Scientology is the victim ... So maybe a lil more 'love' signs will help with that .. Operation Reconnect signs might help with this.

2) the "none of us is as cruel as all of us" which then spins into how would you like it if they came after you?

3) If these people were born into scientology - think how you would handle your family being attacked - same mentality for them - less confrontational ..

4) If he believes the pamphlet about Anonymous - he's got some balls standing near us - I read the flyer - lots of pre-Chanology and things taken out of context with minimal reference ..

Not sure if its worth the effort to put up the flyer on torontoanonymous.org and provide context, direct references, etc. You take the good with the bad .. but context is everything ..


ALSO on the flyer, if any of those YouTub videos have comments enabled they need to be harpooned.

Also, if you think about it technically, they could very well be members of anonymous. Obviously, not working on Chanology, but our openness in this arena is the killer of this argument. Members of anonymous come and go. There is no requirements of membership.

You can't be arrested for a copyright violation (At least in the US, and I'm sure Canada is the same in this regard). They have to prove it in court. Spathi, i love that your are not lazy enough to spot them, but too fucking lazy to list them to save time. The only one i can spot is literature EDIT and two words before it. If there are others that are differences between american and european spelling, get an american to check it and post necessary changes. In the meantime, the people trying to actually do something will fucking do it.

Good point about not letting the scilon divert you from your mission. In chicago we had a single scilon show up at this months global and, sad to say, the majority of our group followed him around and during that time we were not handing out fliers or talking with the public.

Granted he was getting right up to people snapping pics and taping but still. We were diverted. The signs that were posted earlier in this thread look good. A factual " This man is a scientologist" sign looks good to me too. Let the people make up their own minds as to what that means. They'll figure it out.

Our best tactic is to do as LITTLE about this as possible. If we actively offer to trade our flyers with the black PR ones and educate ourselves so we can talk to any interested members of the public, this will stop the Scilons in their tracks. It might even get them to step their game up a bit, which as we have seen leads to MOAR FOOTBULLETS. Signs, yelling, reverse-bullbaiting are all things we do not want to do here. We want them to seem like the nuts, not us.

We absolutely cannot let the plants lead us around. Stay in front of the Org. Stay on target. We do not want to allow them to make this about us, we want it to remain about them and the criminal orginization they belong to.

I've copied the .mp3 of the Hubbard lecture to my phone. I'm going to try and see what effect it has (if any) either tonight or tomorrow evening.

tl;dr: don't feed the trolls, stay on target and inform the public about the CoS' crimes. Let them waste more resources on us. Business as usual.

One with a sign saying "THIS PERSON IS A SCIENTOLOGIST"

Then another one saying "DISPOSE OF (COLOR OF THEIR FLYERS) SCIENTOLOGIST PROPEGANDA HERE" and a trashbag.

San Fran anons have done this in the past to great success.

People think this s causing panic among anons, but it's not. Keep in mind a few things that talk about how WIN this situation is, and realize that almost nothing NEEDS to be done about this.

1) This tactic of theirs is NOT solely designed to discredit Anonymous! This is part of their campaign to get an Anon riled up and commit an assault against a Scientologist.

2) They believe that handing out flyers about Anonymous will be as damaging to Anonymous as ours have been to them. Otherwise, why would they be so out-ethics by using our own tactics? They're admitting our strategy is better than theirs so they have chosen to try and adopt it. Do you have any idea how much of a win this is for us? If anyone had any doubts about the success of our flyering campaigns, this should completely crush them.

3) Anonymous has a five month head start on the PR machine and handing out flyers and Scientology has ALOT of ground to cover before they can even DREAM of catching up with Anonymous, if they ever, which they won't.

4) We have always encouraged people to do their own research on the subject so they can get both sides of the story. What's the first thing that people do today when they find out about a new subject? They google it. If you're the average person and you see a protest or a group of anons that are being infikltrated by Scientologists, what would you rather do?

• Google "Anonymous" (Look at the page results, it leads them right into research about us and the fight against CoS)
• Google "Scientology" (And look how well the google bombing campaign is going right now)
• Go to any of the smaller websites that are easy to remember and write on protest signs such as xenu.net, whyweprotest.net, etc.
• Sit down and type out a gigantic URL by hand in front of their computer to actually confirm that there was a news story about Anonymous located at this specific website or youtube video or news article buried in 50 subdirectories

The normal person today gets their information on the internet, and we have proven every single time in the last few months that we have virtually destroyed their presence on the net. We've chased them off Youtube, googlebombed their search results down, flagged all their ads on craigslist, launched harpoons against every article that allows public comments and emailed the editors of those that haven't.

If you're the average person taking a flyer, you're going to read it and then most likely throw it away later. Thats why it's important to put websites on them so people can remember the site name and check it out or at least google the term when they get home.

5) Any time that Scientologists are out there handing out black PR against Anonymous is time that they are NOT:

• Calling and harassing existing and ex members for money
• Handing out stuff to get people to go into the church
• Recruiting for the Church
• Running a stress test table or cart or selling Dianetics books
• KSW

Even better if they're out there on the days that you AREN'T!

TL;DR - They're flyering because we hurt them really bad by doing the same thing so they think that by flyering us they'll damage us the same way. Normal person will turn to the internet for information, and we ARE the fucking internet, and they'll have wasted their time and had their stats crash even further.

Can you use a bullhorn? Even if you can't, you can print up OT3 or OT8 and read it aloud. You can take turns reading the doc if one of you gets tired.

Best check up on what the regs are in regarding "disturbing the peace". It's probably based on noise level. I've seen protests on parliament hill where people use bullhorns.

Impersonating another person and claiming to speak on their behalf is lying.

Seeing a person handing out leaflets pretending to be someone they aren't is evidence they are lying

'This Man is a Scientologist' very possibly means very little to a great many people outside this campaign (even if they see a protest), it may even be seen as offensive/ a 'religious attack' by some.

It's important to not become so involved in this campaign that you lose perspective on how people outside it are not as informed about (or even that interested in) scientology as people here.
