It's not just about oil which UK/France/Italy all have companies with billions of dollars invested there, Gadaffi had plans in the making to take them back to gold standard which would increase the wealth of Libya, it's people and services by an enormous amount, which would mean the other countries couldn't pay in their limitless printed paper. I believe that in life, there is a line between right and wrong that we must never cross, and if we do cross that line, we deserve pretty much whatever happens to us. We could (and do) debate just where exactly the line should be drawn, but there's really no doubt that this prick crossed it. It sounds very cold, but seeing him die just doesn't bother me.
