Hey fags, I´m trying to put together a timeline of key events and the introduction of interesting characters in the chanology saga, and could use a hand or two. Its a bigger task than i expected, so i´m kinda hoping its been done before. Is there one around? If not, there are 4 years of chaos to deal with, starting in 2008. (Right?) We have the day WWP was born, intro of WBM, the over 9000 protesters across the globe, Sweeney and Bacca, Marty and Rinder, the whole SP Times thing....fuck, i dont even know where to begin.... Help?
Inaccurate. Orlando had two or three full, organized protests BEFORE February 10th. Anonymous protests started in January, tyvm. Just got a malware attack notification on the first site on that list, the ChanologyTimeline one. Not saying it's necessarily a legit notification, just offering a heads up.
@612: Thanks for the Orlando vid. I had not realized there were raids before Feb 10. We need a list of these. Here are some more important dates in early Chanology: January 21, 2008: Declaration of war on YouTube January 26: gregg launches the Chanology central forum at Enturbulation.org ( now Why We Protest) January 27: Mark Bunker posts his YouTube video advising Anonymous not engage in any illegal activity and becomes Wise Beard Man. Orlando raided on January 27 and February 2. Any other raids before February 10?
Another date for you. The 4chan thread discussing doing something about Scientology was Janurary 15th. I know at least one other cell raided in January, but which one escapes me. I think it was a non-US one. EDIT: Ah. Both Manchester, UK, and Santa Barbara, Cali raided on February 2. I thought there was another January one, but that's all I see reference to right now. We have some more oldfag protesters in the local cell, I'll ask around. IMO an even more interesting project would be a full, all-inclusive chronology of anti-Scientology work in general. Start way back in the day, go through the LMT, the start of Chanology, up to now. Johnny, what are you going to do with the timeline? I think that there probably a lot of old threads, which have been done... try to search.
It helps when you've got the original right in front of you and you can see the DATES when everything happened. It also helps if you click the image and enlarge it to see the dates. Don't forget to look for Gasmask Girl to the left of Mudkips at the bottom of the decoupage. Everybody likes Gasmask Girl, right?
