Good point, worth following up with the local city council if possible. I doubt that Scientology actually owns the sidewalk there, but it might be remotely possible. Did Scientology pay a fee to the city to legally add that permanent fixture on public city property? If so, how much did they pay, and /r/ copies of permit. Or did Scientology simply seize the sidewalk property and claim it as their own, wog rules be damned.
