Chicago, Jan. 2016 - Sweet, sleetin' new year

Discussion in 'Scientology and Anonymous' started by Strong Strength, Jan 9, 2016.

  1. We did a fast protest just to get the blood circulating again.

The Cheerios box performs double duty in keeping mud off the bottom of the boombox. An improvised rain cover completes the setup as sweet sounds emanate from within. Behold the Bag O' Music.

Actively protesting scientology has been known to lower bad cholesterol and drive away body thetans.

  4. January 2016:
    - It's a cold and wet (but happy) new year
    - Insulation smooshed into a ceiling tile
    - Most Scientologists seem glad to see us

  5. StrongStrength, you guys really keep it classy. :)
    That is awesome.
    Happy New Year.

(How cold was it in Chicago today?)
  6. The day of the protest, it started around 40 degrees. We stayed dry for a little bit, and then some light rain developed. Eventually it got down to around 35 with some sleet, but we avoided the worst of it!

In my opinion, those are some of the trickiest conditions in which to be outdoors for an extended period - cold enough to be legitimately cold, but just warm enough for the precipitation to come in the form of rain/sleet. That gets you wet right away, which is a troublesome combination with the cold. (Snow tends to feel a lot gentler.)

Another problem with sleet is that it can freeze when it hits the sidewalk making it slippery.
But scientology can handle that. Just have Domenic dump plastic pails of CalMag on the concrete in front of the morg. CalMag makes a great de-icer!
  8. I love that you guys are still protesting. Keep up the good work!
