    Incredible......(shakes head).....

Predominately white institution (located in the middle of the hood in LA) refuses entry and locks doors to prevent black families from going to a class.

I'm sure the media/ radio stations would be interested........eh, Davy? Oh, and these "gentlemen" were looking for you.......by name.

    WTF.

Community organizers schedule and publicize a "secret" meeting, which apparently wasn't really a secret to the anticipated standing room only crowd, but whatever. Tony Muhammad manages to get himself included on the list of speakers even though he's the only speaker on the list that doesn't have any cred in the mental health field.

I can only guess that his reason for being slated to speak is that he was the one that provided the venue, a neighborhood cult front, most likely because he saw this as an opportunity to sell dianetics to this standing room only crowd.

Standing room only crowd shows up, say's No U, we're here to talk about psychiatry. Cult says GTFO, we're here to sell you on dianetics.

Tony and his NoI counterparts get locked out of the building along with everyone else. Instead of boosting their stats with Farrakhan, they get to stand around looking like total asshats to everyone who showed up at the meeting. Meanwhile inside the community center, scientologists turtle up with their digicams as they always do, wishing like hell they could dismiss Muhammad like some SP but knowing all too well that when Davey's tiny fists toll, they'll toll for them. And when Farrakhan's fists toll, they'll toll for Tony.

These are just the cracks that I've been hoping for. The cognitive dissonance must be deafening.

Have to agree with Tory, this is insanely bad PR for them.

Oh well, always nice to have an enemy who fights them selves.

I don't think the NOI boys gonna appreciate being made to look like huge losers in front of the whole African American community. Shutting that community out of that predominantly white organization building gonna go down bout as well as telling the African Americans to move to the back of the bus.

I wonder what Juan? (Lynns friend) thought about how Lynn and Tory were treated after the fact.
Hope it planted lots of seeds of doubt

This needs more investigation and to get more media coverage.

Here's a good Utube video, taken at the Inglewood site, on the night Scientology LOCKED them out of the building. Dr Woods explains the SCIENCE behind the research report, which will help reduce the disparity of mental health in the black community. Her research grant was funded by the California Mental Health Services Act.

Why did this happen? Why would the Church of Scientology deliberately LOCK OUT the black community from a class they wanted to attend, just 10 minutes before the seminar was to start?

Some say,it all comes down to money..... Scientology doesn't want the competition, and realize that mental health professionals would quickly realize how dangerous scientology really is.

Spread the word.......this needs to be sorted out, and at least Dr. Woods (and her staff) airplane tickets and lodging need to be refunded by the Church of Scientology!

Perhaps they found out that people like Tory Magoo (and friends) were there with cameras and decided it was less of an PR flap to cancel then to allow them in.
If it was indeed planned as a "Tell-all Town Hal" sort of event there is no way they could avoid the "SPs" from raising some interesting topics.

Scientology actively opposed Proposition 63 when it came to a vote in November 2004, but when it passed it created a 1% state tax surcharge on annual incomes above a million dollars to finance the operations of the California Mental Health Agency.
