I appreciate your articulate observations and opinions, Larry. I hope a hundred more people do join in as plaintiffs. I also hope they are determined to win and will stick with it no matter what dirty tricks the cult tries to pull.

    paragraph 29... seeks not weeks...

very good suit.. sci can easily be buried with suits... think from an outsiders perspective.. the wage thing is generally unknown and forced abortions even less known in general public... this lawsuit should help publicize that..

    Summary of info for journalists:

This class action representative suit was filed yesterday against the Religious Technology Center (RTC) claiming breaches of US and California labor laws, human trafficking and coerced abortions. It follows another by Marc Headley filed 5 January 2009.

    About RTC:

David Miscavige (Tom Cruise's BFF) is the Chairman of the Board of RTC, which is the holder of all Scientology and Dianetics trademarks. The official line is that RTC and Miscavige have no role whatsoever in management of Scientology. However, see the declaration of Larry Brennan, who managed the corporate restructure in the 1980's: DeclarationLaurenceHBrennan.pdf

Good stuff, Tinydancer. I hope there's a few journalists lurking about, your post pretty much puts a good-sized story with legs right in their lap. Cruise, Beghe, Miscavage, human trafficking, brainwashing, coerced abortions, a daring escape from a prison-like environment...

This'll be in films some day.

I never made the connection between Headley and that first-hand report of Miscavage mistreating RPFers. Now that I know he wrote that moving tale, I'm all the more behind him. Give 'em hell, BFG.

re: Claire Headley Lawsuit filed - JAN 20, 2009: Claire Headley v. CSI & RTC

Did headley write the 'musical chairs' story too? If not, who was that? I'm only now starting to learn the names of the key exes...

Just a few short weeks ago I protested the claim that we're entering the end game. Using the chess analogy, I argued that we had entered the middle game - the pawns were all in place, and exchanges of pieces were beginning to occur. Jett Travolta's unfortunate death gave us a beautiful fork - the RTC were faced with either sacrificing John Travolta (for giving his son Psych drugs) or sacrificing their scripture (by insisting that drugs are okay in some cases - mandatory even). Scientology's pawn structure was all based around a strategy of painting us as criminals and hate-mongers, and their strategy has completely fallen apart. Our strategy was based on compiling, analyzing, and disseminating information - and those pawns took hold. We clearly dominated the middle-game. But that doesn't mean we've won yet. Our opponent can keep pushing his king around and pray for a stalemate.

The entire philosophy of Anonymous is that we are all pawns. By refusing to claim to be knights, bishops, rooks or queens, none of us could over-value ourselves. None of us could develop the egos that might undermine our efforts.

All the OG and Anons that have been attacked by Anonymous all had one thing in common - they imagined themselves to be more important than they were. They presented themselves as more than pawns. That's what Anonymous found most offensive. It was treated like treason.

But it's a crime far short of treason. Having an ego is not on the same order of mangnitude as the crimes committed by David Miscavige.

I said, too, that in the end game, pawns are promoted to queens. I hope Chanology Anonymous understands this. But no pawn can promote itself - its position on the board determines the promotion. And some pawns that are advancing will not be made into queens, will be blocked by opposing pieces - and, in doing so, will clear the way for others to advance.

I thought we were months away from an end game. We may still be - filing suit is a far cry from a favorable ruling, and the courts take time. But Headley's our best-placed pawn right now, and I can't wait to see him reach the 8th rank and start decimating the enemy.

Yesterday, there was a revolution in American politics. The previous government stepped down, and a new government took office. This resets the politics game - and we're in a much stronger position to make headway this time around. We need to push forward on that front.

'Pawns' in this game are anything that's an asset. People, money, websites, information, press contacts, allies, and so forth. Scientology's pawns are OSA, thought control techniques, stress test tables, their press connections, their wealth, and their lawyers. We've dealt a serious blow to their ability to wage war in the courts. We've decimated their stress test tables - they are virtually unable to recruit. And the press is turning; yesterday's articles by The Daily Mail on Valkyrie and on Katie Holmes indicated to me that that paper has turned on the cult - probably as a result of the offensive Scientology waged against the article suggesting that Jett died as a result of Scientology 'tech.'

What we're doing is working, and we need to keep doing it. Harassing orgs is less important than neutering their ability to recruit. We've seen a shift in emphasis from global protests to frequent mini-raids of stress-test carts. This is a good strategic move. We've harpooned every article to hit the web in the last year. We have a letter-writing campaign underway to inform legislators. We've fought our way into the citizen's handbook, which will be presented to America's new president. We've seen orgs fall. We've seen Second Chance and Narconon exposed for the frauds they are - and we need to push hard on that front, to capitalize on the success we've had. We've seen dozens leave the Church in Anzo. We've seen fundraising dry up. We've seen Miscavige go into hiding. We've raided Cruise personally, and he's failed to confront or shatter our suppression. We've canvased and flyered, inoculating the public. We held a protest on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. We've thwarted efforts to stop constitutionally-protected free speech in Hemet, Clearwater, and many other locations. We've broken the iron grip the cult had over LRH Way in LA. We've made affiliation with Scientology a liability, rather than an asset, to a celeb's career. We've forced them to call in so many (often unreasonable) favors from so many allies (in the press, government, and so on) that many of those relationships are now strained. We've made it safe for satirists to make jokes at the cult's expense. We've made exes feel confident, safe, and comfortable in speaking out. We've virtually destroyed the ability of OSA to 'fair game' critics. We've seen books published - despite a vicious fight from the cult. And now, now we're seeing exes stand up for themselves, shout their names out loud to the cult, free of fear, and accuse the RTC in public court of the crimes perpetrated against them.

The cult has had some victories, but even there we've limited their gains. They forced Gregg into a stalemate - but they failed to get a conviction. They got Stu convicted of possession, but his sentence was immediately suspended. Valkyrie did not flop as we'd have liked, but it was not the stellar success they were aiming for, and Cruise's career is still in shambles. These minor victories are the full extent of Scientology's success in the past year; and all they did was trade for two of our pawns.

Scientology did have a queen. Their queen was fear. The press feared them. Exes feared them. Scientologists feared them. We feared them. We have taken their queen. This is our biggest victory yet, and it isn't illustrated by any particular move, or by the breaking of any particular story. But it's important to recognize it. I still stand by the V mask, but when Beghe says it's time for us to ditch them, this is what he means - he wants us to stand up and acknowledge that victory. He wants us to show the world that nobody has to fear Scientology anymore. Headley's lawsuits are proof of this victory.

I expect there will be some setbacks, but I see win from here on out. The cult will fall. And then we'll have our biggest lulz.

New Lawsuit filed by Blown For Good's Wife 20 Jan!!

Just read on clambake site, new suit, relating to labor violations, abortion, etc, BFG says:

    Quote
Due to the increased visibility of the last case filed and the enormous assistance from persons on this board and others, another case has been filed today and it has incorporated many of the issues that have been raised. All of these issues were fully researched and studied and the ones that proved useful have been included as you can see.

This is the next in a series of lawsuits being filed. This one is for labor code violations, human trafficking, and forced abortions among other things. This case will attempt to make it illegal for CSI or RTC to enforce or coerce abortions in any way.
    Thanks for your continued support.

    Until next time...

    Consensus,

I agree nearly 100% and think that the only bit of symbolism you might have left out is that TC signed a GF mask with a Peace sign. I consider this a white flag.

This is not shattering suppression it is a sign of defeat and that his "tech" does not work.

As for ditching the masks. I think the person in the video taking it off and handing it to him is also a sign (and it will make a TON on ebay) that Anons. don't need masks but they are a symbol of people having to hide from a vendetta driven cult.

    I'm stunned.

I will never, ever, ever understand why it is taking personal lawsuits instead of federal divisions established to protect employees to bring this about.

This just about proves that it's going to take a large group, no, a MASSIVE WORLDWIDE group to bring down this cult because the US government is just here to watch. Now to just find a bunch of people who might want to do it.

    };}>

Yes, it's the year for change, but it ain't gonna come from the government.

I have a dream of seeing hundreds of people lined up in front of Congress to be sworn in and answer the question "what did you know and when did you know it" about the abuses that critics have been talking about for years. Politicians, local and Federal law enforcement officials and major media people like Babwa Wawa and Dan Rather sitting next to the Clintons answering for failing to protect the public from those evil, greedy assholes.

I only started looking in to this after the South Park episode. They have known about it for years, hell, make that decades and they did nothing.

It will never happen, but a guy can dream can't he?

    Edit:
You know what, I changed my mind. I think this could happen. People just love to point fingers at others for their failings and as long as you are the first news network or news magazine to start covering the hell out of this story you will probably be immune from the scorn. You will be looked at as heroes for bringing it to light. I would just hate to be the last one to "break" the story though, everyone will be pointing their fingers at YOU!

Me completely talking out my ass:

I hope that these cases will bring new information to light and if the gov. after learning this information does not act the next step might have to be suing the gov. into action they have had nearly 60 years of complaints and if these cases are proven the government may need to take action before more suits can be filed.

    ^^This and more...

You can bet that the cult will not go down without a serious, serious fight. They will try delaying actions, diversions, perversions of justice.... anything they can to keep milking the money and support of their followers.

I would imagine that they will begin to throw their "true believers" under the bus as fast as they can in order to buy time. This will make them very dangerous now.

It is really not a question of being in the endgame, but how long said endgame will last and what dirty tricks will be employed as the SciFags scramble to protect and shield themselves against the inevitability of the end.
