Columbus, Ohio The usual trimmings. Old copypasta December 13th Basic Info Meet-up Location: Starbucks on corner of High and Broad. Meet-up Time: 10AM Protest Location: 30 N. High Street, very close by. Party Time: 11AM Alt forum is here. There is no strict dress code. For the most part, dress in whatever's comfy for you. Masks or anything else suitably concealing (hat/scarf/sunglasses, etc.) are however considered must-have if you haven't already been Fair-Gamed. And even then you'll potentially make them waste time and eyes figuring it out. Try not to wear something you routinely do. If possible, wear clothes that conceal your body shape and try to disguise your more prominent features. For instance, if you have long hair and usually wear it straight, try wearing it differently, dye it, stuff it inside a gigantic sombrero, whatever. Don't freak out or act like an ass to nonanons taking pics. Not everybody with a camera is OSA or somesuch and if they are, they're not worth your time to bother with anyhow. If you bring anything identifying (say, a personal credit card), you should be mindful to put it in a front pocket where it's much harder to go unnoticed if somebody tries somethin'. The inside of your shoes might also be an option for the extra-antsy. If you see people kind of gawking and looking curious, walk over and talk to 'em! Ask 'em if they'd like a flyer, offer to answer their questions, what-have-you. Srsly, DO IT. Judging from past protests, a handful of detectives and mounted officers will be monitoring the area, who goes in/out the $ci building, and departing anons for any harassment or stalking lameness. I'd ask that if you remember, say thanks to the cops for being this kick-ass. It shouldn't be as much of a problem as elsewhere since C-Bus $cilons seem reluctant to do much of anything but if possible, bring a friend or two since Sci stalkers typically make a point of following stragglers, and on the way back to your car, ensure that you aren't being followed. It's happened before and it may happen again. If you can't shake a tail on your own, get hold of an officer and explain the situation. Don't hesitate to have some fun. LOL at the Lulzy Roger, get jiggy to the soothing voice of Rick Astley, whatever. Having fun's part of what Anonymous is about. No need to be all srs bzns the entire time you're there so long as the message gets out, right? Need some motivation? Check out some of the protests we've done before! October 18th September 13th

Re: Columbus, Ohio An unfortunate chain of events has bestoweth upon me a situation in wich I'm not able to attend this potentially amazing feast of pwnage. I hope to make it to atleast a couple in '09 tho. The lacking of a vehicular transport is quite an issue for me seeing that I.. lack one. Good luck to those who attend!

Re: Columbus, Ohio It might be pretty gosh darn cold, so bring plenty of extra coverings for yourself.

Re: Columbus, Ohio Ok, ok. What i meant to say was anything...unofficial or inside info. Or maybe i'm thinking too far into it.
Re: Columbus, Ohio There is no such thing. Anonymous operates transparently and in the open. What you see is what you get. Nothing more, nothing less.
Re: Columbus, Ohio Originally posted on decentralized Columbus Anonymous forum: Good day from the Columbus Anonymous StormTeam WeatherTracker Headquarters, I'm Chief Meteorologist OHanon42. The forecast for Saturday is partly sunny with highs in the mid 30s and South winds at 10 to 15 mph. Look for game-time temperatures to be around 23 and rising slowly throughout the day to around 36 by the end of the protest. Remember, this IS December in Columbus, so you should be prepared for any inclement weather that may come along. DRESS WARM! Wear a hat that covers your ears. Wear layered clothing so that if you do get too warm you can shed a layer or two. Wear an extra pair of socks and don't forget your gloves as hypothermia and frostbite affect your outer extremities first, even if your core temperature is fine. In colder weather it is easy to forget to remain hydrated, but it's just as important as in the Summer months so DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! tl;dr it's gonna be cold, don't be stupid.

Re: Columbus, Ohio [STRIKE]Hey guise, is this a secure channel? I need to discuss some super srs bzns like nao.[/STRIKE] Fine. Don't indulge me. But as leader of the 57th Legion, I'm reducing your rations by half as punishment. You also can bet my report to Central Command will be less than spectacular this quarter. Look forward to a sharp cut in your pay, mentlegen.
Re: Columbus, Ohio Still Alive - Marcab If folks would be so kind as to throw together some quick, one paragraph summaries of what's been going on in their local cells here, the hope is to get a nice website up compiling everything (kinda like Anonymous Resources, only with some more information about the groups). We could even *gasp* KEEP IT UP TO DATE!
