I've been getting some seemingly personalized responses from their assistants. Mostly "thank you for contacting" but they referred me to some news articles on abc's coverage of Xenophon's speech. They don't appear auto-responses so I think we're having an impact.

Edit: Not sure if I should post them. One reply said something about confidentiality so I think they don't want the correspondence posted b/c of that.

I have sent my harpoons, but an idea occurred to me afterwards:

The most important counter strategy for the cult is to claim that CoS=Scientology, thus that an enquiry into CoS is an attack on the scientology faith. However, the Free Zoners (unloveable as they may be) are manifestly scientologists. That should make it clear that the enquiry is not about scientology, but about the organization. The lie that the CoS is the totality of scientology is one of their main weapons, not only against any critique of them, but also to monopolize on any value they might wring out of Flubtards works.

Actually, with CoS owning the trademarks to most of scientology (and using them actively against the FZ'ers), if the senators are concerned with the right to practice once religion, the CoS really needs to be looked at!

I do not know nearly enough about the FZ, nor about the CoS/FZ scene in Australia to make an informative letter, but perhaps some of you guys can?

I have spent many hours in Parliament this week
All through the week Senator Xenophon's motion to refer Scientology matters to a committee of the Senate has been postponed (without debate) to the next day.
This is understandable given the huge pressure the Government in the House of Representatives is putting to get the emmissions trading legislation through.However, there are media reports that he is having trouble getting Senators to support him also. Your emails are having effect I suspect.
I have been emailing Senators using data on areas they have talked about in the chamber to get very high R and then explaining why I was there.

Today (Thurs) was to be the last sitting day but this morning the Senate realised that it will probably be sitting into next week and once again today Senator Xenophon had submitted a written request for postponment.

At this stage the matter is highly unlikely, in my judgement, to be discussed till next year


We do need to keep up production and good results in the orgs per KSW1 and outside in the field per Wendy's suggestions.
I am about to go into the org to study my Command of Theta tapes that I normally do at home. I am also going to restudy KSW1

For those of you interested in following this matter, the parliament website, Parliament of Australia: Home has Senate info including the Senate Red which is the agenda fo the day. It is called red because that is the colour of the Senate. ( the House of Representatives and its staff are all in green).
During the day you can look at the 'dynamic red' , so called because it is constantly updated as the order of business is changed. This is more informative.

I did not see Senator Xenophon's email on the list of the senators' emails that was so nicely constructed by Bruce. So, I thought I'd mention that since it is easy to overlook on such a long list.

Has anyone seen any media say that Senator Xenophon is having trouble getting support for the inquiry? I've not seen anything of that nature. Scilons are postulating again...
