Someone should ask this guy if he represents the public or if he is the mouthpiece of a cult, who just repeats whatever they put in his mouth.

    what a disturbing article.
at the very least it does mention some realism by mentioning the actual amount of scientologists that exist in the US and how full of shit Erin Banks is. And that Erin Banks added words to White's speech.

    Wake the fuck up Denver!
if they would go as far as adding words to someone's speech to make themselves sound more appealing, then these are the people you are going to trust? lol
This is only the tip of the iceberg of many lies to come. Right off the bat they lied about their numbers.
And since when does the church help out the homeless? Out exchange much?

Also do not like that tutoring program mentioned that has been going on for 2 years? Parents, PTA and school board needs to be warned

"I do think it's a new chapter for Scientology in Denver," said Cory Isaacson, a Denver software executive and church member. "We really just want to be part of the community and strengthen that and strengthen the neighborhood."

I wonder if Cory knew scientology minister, OT 7, and wog murderer Rex Fowler.

The comments are good - not many scilons plying their wares there. Most people, long time posters in the Denver Post "community," see the cult for exactly what it is.

It's a good sign for the public record request. The media is watching.

Remember when they put out copies of TWTH that looked like the mayors of several cities, including Dallas, supported The Way to Happiness Foundation? I think N'awlins was hit too. And also some sports thing in Vancouver; promo cleverly designed so the viewer will mistake it for legit.

From the comments section of the Denver Post - this is just too freakin precious (poster, scilon kmilarow):

True story for you... When I first got involved with Scientology one of my uncles challenged me and was quite critical. After some verbal touche he finally agreed to come to the Church for a series of free lectures. The first two nights he heckled the speaker. The final night he approached me with tears in his eyes and apologized stating in so many words "this technology is so precious I don't know how our society could survive without it. It is on the level of food, water and air. It should be included in the curriculum of every school from kindergarten through college and universities". My point is this... he looked and found out for himself!!

    ORLY? Gaaaa.

Denver's got a problem, a real BIG one!

It is a huge problem when scientologists infiltrate or influence power -it's what scientologist are trained to do.
Scientology did the same with City of London police

    http://www.metro.co.uk/news/26227-scientologists-woo-police-with-gifts

    which some think influenced this:
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/may/20/1

Scientology 'Volunteer Ministers' and their 'say no to drugs say yes to life', narconon and criminon front groups are cynical and deliberate tactics that scientology uses to impress unsuspecting police- who then mindlessly endorse a criminal organisation.

Denver Police Chief Robert White would do well to read this:
    http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Library/Shelf/atack/
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Snow_White

Scientology is an extremist group committed to gaining power through non-democratic tactics. Scientologists are trained to befriend and influence people in power and to destroying critics.

Who was that Frank guy that was in OSA? I think he leaked documents that showed how Scientology monitors public officials.
