We need to keep on our toes, but they're fooling only themselves if they think that taking down the sites is the answer. Ultimately, the only two bits of info we all need to know are date and time. If we know those two things then they can't stop us coordinating. There are many, many sites we can turn to to use if necessary - "world-wide-web" - I've heard some call it :lol:

I set up TOR and my IRC client, but when I tried to join mudkipz.ath.cx, I was told I can't use a TOR connection, and to see http://rbl.efnet.org/?i=149.9.0.59. That page says to block IRC ports if I want to connect to the network, but if I'm not being totally braindead that seems like doing that would mean I can't use TOR for the desired purpose, namely to IRC without my connection's FQDN showing. I wouldn't really care too much about it showing, except that my provider uses airport codes in theirs, which would help anyone doing a /dns on me to pin me down (the area isn't all that big). Not something I wish to have happen. Do I just have to suck it up and be not-anon, or is there some other option that my caffeine-deprived brain is missing?
Re: Current IRC information You are trying to connect to the partyvan irc? They have TOR Nodes banned for a reason that is beyond me. You could try to use some anonymizer service or a free proxy. I for myself use a paid proxy to connect to it. Another Option would be to buy a Bouncer to hang in there, but probably not worth it if you dont intend to use it for something else. Although you have the ability to request a vhost on the server (/msg hostserv help) it may take a while until they set it, and the admins of the ircd would still know your real IP.
Re: Current IRC information The reason they have TOR nodes banned is because it has opened them up to severe botnets in the past. It is very popular to use them in botnets and other DDoSes. It is for their server's protection.
Re: Current IRC information A note to all those looking for good IRC chat with lots of us on it, and some really good planning and coordination for IRL raids and internet activities (been up for a month or two now) and we are getting some good research done. Ebaum's World is hosting a dedicated server IRC Xenu chat and has been for awhile, been totally free of sciops so far to date, (couple tries, but they got outted so fast.) I can't post the details of where it is here, but I'm sure you can figure it out easily with some moderate effort. (If you catch what I'm getting at.)
Re: Current IRC information There's something seriously wrong with the Partyvan IRC at the moment. I don't know what it is, but it seems irc.exploitercode.net and pirated.partyvan.org are down. Even worse, Lulz.hub is down too, so the remaining 8 servers can't talk to each other.
Re: Current IRC information EDIT n/m unbanned now huzzah. OK, I logged on to partyvan at work today like I always do, and was busy for a bit, but I noticed I was in #idle for some reason. I joined my regular channel and attended to other stuff for a moment. When I checked back into irc, I had been banned. :shock: I had only been logged on for 3 or 4 minutes... Now I've been trying to log on for almost an hour but the ban's not going away. What did I do?
