They said member. Heheh, heh.
Pretty crazy story though. I think if I was in charge of his case for the US I'd say drop the case, keep an eye on him. Dude with issues made some bad choices, but not a national security concern.
Anyone who claims to be a member of Anonymous is automatically a National Security Concern, even though Anonymous is far more in compliance with the United States Constitution and the founding fathers than the United States Government.
Cepstral David is common knowledge. My understanding is that the video was assembled in San Antonio, Texas, and the music was "*** THE RISE OF SATAN ***" by kingj4life3: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/47110
WikiLeaks has mentioned this on Twitter:

Post: Son of NSA figure seeking asylum in Canada hit with sex case after finding FBI doc on CIA bound for #WikiLeaks
Doing it wrong.
Having that information in the first place.
Second, not simply trashing them.
Matt DeHart no longer felt safe after FBI raided his home, so he decided to visit the Russian embassy | National Post:
Chapter 3 coming Tuesday, May 27: “I was gone. I was broken.”
Chapter One: Matt DeHart claims he’s wanted for working with Anonymous
Chapter Two: Matt DeHart no longer felt safe after FBI raided his home, so he decided to visit the Russian embassy
Chapter Three: Matt DeHart claims FBI tortured him and grilled him about Anonymous and WikiLeaks
Chapter Four: Matt DeHart breaks down in court as child pornography charges brought against him
all you need to know and see is this:
Our government is spending way too much time arresting and prosecuting kids pranking other kids online. I wish they would expend this much effort to catch the folks who stole data from the Target database.
Well that might be too much like real work and those criminals carry guns, you know.
Peterborough, well no wonder!
Is Peterborough anything like Sudbury?
I'm not being factitious. I'm really curious.
While born in the big smoke, I never lived there more than six weeks, post birth. I've never lived anywhere in Ontario, but I have read about Sudbury and have nothing to compare it to.
Sudbury has mines.
Kids lrn2drv minecarts at age 3
So... it's not like Peterborough?
Why the National Post can’t report from Matt DeHart’s refugee proceedings on Wednesday | National Post
Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board has rejected a media request to allow open reporting on the prominent case of a former American airman and Anonymous hacker, saying further public scrutiny could expose him to “additional risk and possibly bring negative consequences to him,” if he is ordered back to United States.
Although the National Post will be allowed to view the refugee proceedings, scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the case of Matt DeHart over a video link, a reporter has been denied access to the hearing room and is banned from publishing any pertinent details about the case — including Mr. DeHart’s “name, age, physical identifying characteristics, place of birth, place of residence, place of employment or education, and any similar information about family members or associates.”
A subsequent application by the Post to have the restrictions modified, arguing the ban renders access to the hearing meaningless because the importance of the case hinges directly on Mr. DeHart’s specific claims of torture by the United States because of involvement in online activism linked to Anonymous and WikiLeaks, was denied by IRB member Patrick Roche.
when Anon goes camping we don't care if it's Canada.

A thread was started about the Matt DeHart situation Sept. 12th, 2013 in the Canada Media Forum:
I missed that.....sooo...share again then.
And here is a perfect example of what Matt is referring to.
On October 15th 2007, activists around New Zealand woke to guns in their faces. Black-clad police smashed down doors, dragging families out onto roads and detaining some without food or water. In the village of Ruatoki, helicopters hovered while locals were stopped at roadblocks. Operation 8 involved 18 months of invasive surveillance of Maori sovereignty and peace activists accused of attending terrorist training camps in the Urewera ranges -- homeland of the Tuhoe people. Operation 8 asks why and how the raids took place. How did the War on Terror become a global witch-hunt of political dissenters reaching even to the South Pacific?
