Debunking the 2013 IAS Vids For The Lulz

This is the DVD that was shown
(but DM said they changed the title to "DSM Controversy")
"Diagnostic & Statistical Manual: Psychiatry's Deadliest Scam" and there is a pic in the right hand corner of the IAS vid of this DVD

and everyone who starred in it:

Production Companies- Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) <--- these links just go to IMDb
Distributors- Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) (2011) (World-wide) (DVD)

and just for shits and giggles, the link to all CCHR's films on IMDb

so... does this mean the AMC IMAX theatre was tricked into showing a CCHR film? Or did they know about this? OR did the CCHR rent the theatre out?

and here is the vid listed here on the Spingola speaks website (Deanna Spingola)
In the "To Your Health" section of the web page it lists TWO CCHR links
but she does have a disclaimer at the bottom of all the links more or less saying she doesn't endorse blah blah blah ...

Friday, Jan. 17th Dr. Linda Lagemann
"Dr. Linda Lagemann, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who closed her practice in August 2013 to devote herself full-time to efforts to reform the mental health field joins Deanna today to talk about the drugging of America’s children and the psychiatric drugging of the military. Please visit The DSM Controversy which she will update with educational information about the state of the field and the impact on the public."
Have to go all the way to the end to see the CCHR logo.

OR this may be the vid that was shown or both, it differs from the one above.

apparently on TO's blog PoisonIvy was also looking at the vids and taking high points out of it.
Wish I knew that before I started! :(
I just did a search for Zoltan Fesus and I found a blog entry on Tony O's blog:

    "Repost from this AM:
    "Two so far.
Nobuo Ogura, Keisei Edogawa Clinic in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo: Only info of any wrongdoing comes from an alt religion site post by Angela Gupta.(scion)

Dr. Gary Kushner, a former medical director for Biscayne Milieu Health Center, a Miami-based mental-health clinic, was recently sentenced to 144 months in prison for his role in a $50 million Miami Medicare fraud scheme, according to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Miami division of the FBI.
Funny that no one thanked CCHR.
kiskunhalas psychiatric hospital, zoltan fesus. Found 1 article about two nurses arrested for rape but not named. Found nothing under his name.
Those are the 3 he named out o the 312 Psychs "allegedly" busted."

so it looks like Nobuo Ogura and Zoltan Fesus's claims are all debunked.
And Dr. Gary Kushner did get busted, but I doubt it was because of the CCHR
Thanks guys over on Tony O's blog.

MORE fucking lies from COS and Poodle

Trying to find how many Way To Happiness Centers there are
and guess who is asking people to donate their car too!
WTF do they need a car for? To hand out their crappy pamphlets?
SHAME ON THEM for taking a car away from some charity that really needs it.
I hope nobody ever donated a car to these thieves!

Hey Nancy Cartwright, your rolling in dough (remember when you donated 10 mil to the COS you idiot?) and you LOVE TWTH and are a big disseminator of it, why don't you donate your fucking car.

I'm guessing the theatre was rented out although, in this case, Scientology is not obscured by the CCHR front group but by Linda Lagemann. She is a doctor of psychology who offers on-going training as required by a statutory "behavioural sciences" licensing authority . . . this lures in the unwitting professionals in the field who are ambushed with a pile of Scientology bollocks . . . rather than CCHR being front and centre, it might be that Linda Lagemann and her "on going training" is serving as the Scientology front. This sort of behaviour is straight out that part of the Div 6 Scientology manual dealing with "Zone Of Influence" with the resulting PR reframed for the cults' internal audience. Its kinda similiar to what happened at Ocean FM - someone goes into the studio to talk to some unwitting disc-jockey about a drug education programme - hey presto - it them becomes a Scientology WIN. Talk about "mocking up a reality".

It was a free showing, so it would have been hired out. The contact phone number is Lagemann's

    ^^^ brilliant firebug!
ok, as far as her friends listed on her Face Book page?
I just received some lovely dox that 95% off Linda Lagemann's friends listed on FB are ALL scilons.
So it looks like we have a full blown scilon here? There is NO way she is friends with THAT many scilons and not be one herself?
There are a few names I found interesting and their positions. And some listed on her page have Church of Scientology listed with their names.

I am not going to list all the scilons here, but here are a few that may be of interest perhaps and one that isn't listed as a scilon, but may have family in COS?:
Jeffrey Quirros - we all know this guy!
Tim White - OTVIII- Chief Information Officer of L.N. Curts and Sons.
Norman Berry - Chill EB (as someone pointed out earlier)
Dana Williams - Outreach at COS
Wendy Negley - Organization Ex. Secretary of COS
Max Kanat- Alexander - Senior Software Engineer at Google- he is not listed in COS completions, but there are other Kanats listed.
Rudi Loehwing - OT V- WISE member, Consultant Publicist PR And Marketing Business Consultant
Frank Gerendasy - former SFMTA & SF Municipal Transportation Agency

so..... what was Linda's maiden name?

NOT PHD, so she is not a phd?
Ph.D- is not the same as a PHD. Ph dot D is a doctor of philosophy?
Her title is a psychologist? Go up ^^^ to post # 25 and see the screen grab
    I has a confuse

Undertake a brief history of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) focusing on the key changes in the DSM-5 (philosophical, structural and some specific diagnoses) and the implications for clinicians. Examine the controversies and critiques some of the changes have generated, including the overarching critique of pharmaceutical influence. Take a critical look at the link between the formation of DSM-5 and the pharmaceutical industry, and examine data on the rise in diagnoses and psychotropic drug use and some key outcome study data for the major psychotropic drugs. Discuss how the DSM and the current cultural context affect the profession, for clinicians and those who seek counsel. The instructor uses video clips throughout the workshop to illustrate key points.

gotta wonder if she will be showing the CCHR vids in this course?

  21. Are wogs allowed at IAS Patrons Balls?
  22. IIRC, Phd's are given to non-prescribing psychologists, ie: the ones who do not have a medical license as well as their psychology doctorate. I think it means about 6 years of schooling rather than 8 or more, but I could be wrong. Been a long time since my psych classes but I seem to remember my psych prof, herself a phd, explaining things this way.

I can't imagine why anyone should take her seriously when it comes to actual psych drugs as she probably only got the barest amount of training in the actual medical properties of such things.

Ph.D. does not equal M.D. Psychiatrists must complete their M.D. Psychologists only a Ph.D. and in some jurisdictions not even that.

ETA oops. Dongcopter said the same thing and more. Nevermind.
  24. But yours is a good tl/dr version. Thank you.

There are several different types of degrees where the people might be called a therapist.
A Master of Social Work can be called a therapist. LCSW: licensed clinical social worker.

You can earn a Master of Marriage and Family degree, earn a license. LMFT

You can earn a PhD or a PSyD, both of them 5 year terminal degrees, and get licensed as a therapist, the PhD is a research degree (in theory), while the PsyD is more a clinical degree. Both can work with patients

In all those cases there is a requirement for 3000 hours of supervised clinical work, ie, actually treating patients. that's 18 months minimum full time, most take 2-3 years to get the requirements and pass the testing.

This is not exhaustive, but it is what i've seen on the past years.

A psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor with specialized training, same as an internist, neurologist or proctologist.

I think that New Mexico allows some PhD to write prescriptions, but typically, only an MD can write script.

about the claim of "protestors from all over the continent" showed up at the 21st Annual Psychiatry Convention at the Acropolis in Nice France?
I can't seem to find anything on this claim
Maybe someone wants to ask the Acropolis center if protestors did show up
  30. firebug Member

"protesters from all over the continent". I count about 20

I bow down to your google fu
    I count about 30 tops.
Maybe they were from all over the continent? A few from here and there and there you go! that'a how they are able to make their trumped up claim
They didn't want to show this pic on the vid lol!

    So this claim?

this is such great fun debunking the lying liars that lie
If I had video skillz, I would make an IAS claims rebuttal (include the New Years Eve vids too )
    How great would that be?
Put their claim and then the debunk.
    Send it to Tony :D

Remember years ago they did this for another New Years or IAS , I can't remember which and they put in graphics and used Coke and Phillips and other companies that had nothing to do with them.

anyone else finding and pics or footage besides the IAS vid of scilons marching down the sidewalk in "Calendonian" war paint in Edinburgh to protest the psychs?
    I am not finding anything

the person who ( they claim) put in the complaint against Dr. Gary Kushner was Laurie Anspach according to the video. I couldn't make out her name before, but I just noticed it on her desk in the vid. How they can take credit for his arrest makes me laugh

Laurie is a big honking scilon according to her completions. And she has been in since the '90's

maybe I will try to look at the bills that were pictured in the vid.
And you know, about the IAS and New Years vids.....funny how Poodle is privy to all this info and he is the one to deliver the summation of it all at the end of the year, but claims no involvement with any wrong doings like ordering the stalking of the Rathbuns

That first page article doesn't seem to exist. I've looked both through their archives and with a google search using "Psychiatrie" and/or "Commission des citizens pour les droits de l'homme" and the closest thing I could find are two articles referencing a change in the law that allows commitment of mentally ill people who do not comply to treatment, about which Contrôleur général des prisons Jean-Marie Delarue expressed concern. This is dated around febuary 2013, not september.

Does not mean it does not exist (perhaps they do not publish all their content on the net ?), but it does not look good.

"55 Congressmen and Senators AND diplomats are now
    endorsing COS's Humanitarian agenda"

Midterm elections are in November, Do we know who the congressmen are, if they are real, and what their districts are? Maybe we can turn this into a nasty foot bullet?

Turning the cult into political poison will remove all government support, and help our efforts in the long run.
