I think nearly all the Indies believe that OT powers exist and can be had and I also think that all of them believe L. Ron Hubbard himself had OT powers even if nobody else has or had so what I want to do here is collate witness reports of when Hubbard showed OT powers and when he tried to do a demonstration of it that either failed or succeeded.
Ok wise guys, no jokes in this thread. But wasn't there that time that L Ron Hubbard was constipated and he achieved motion just through the power of will?
holy run on sentence Well, Hubbard failed on his first demonstration of a clear, so that was like the proto failure for all the OT failures later.
Crashing his motorbike, breaking his arm, cyst, teeth, obesity, poor family relationships, musicianship. Could have been prevented with application of OT, no?
I should have explained that I am developing stuff hoping to get the Indies out of Scientology completely and to rejoin the wog world so I am concentrating on those things that are keeping them still trapped. This is one of the most important things that I think keeps them trapped.
And I am shaking that mountain He is lifting with His awesome billion gigawatt OT powers to make Him drop it.
In BFGs book he tells of a special OT power trick that DM very likely learned from LRH. When wanting to impress and intimidate his minions he would get up in the night, look through someone's desk, paperwork and stuff, find any errors or out-points secretly then go back to bed. Next morning he would stride in then use his OT powers and go straight to the drawer with the wrong paperwork in so he could rage against the poor minion and give the impression that he knew everything.
It seems to me like the opposite of parents pretending to be Santa Claus and presents mysteriously turning up. Should be able to suss this one after a while.
Never. cleared. a. single. town. anywhere. Even if you were to accept the existence of a 'clear'. In hiding. No succession plan. Died.
I am trying to find that story when He was onboard ship impressing his minions with His stories and he heard a ship passing out behind Him that others could see and He gave a very detailed description of what that ship ought to have been (that always passes out at that time) except it was a rubbish barge instead. Does anyone have sources for that story?
Took me a while to find, but here 's that famous LRH constipation demo - Mind over matter - or better known as OT Crap
What about that huge sebaceous cyst he had growing on his head FOR YEARS. He loved to primp and pamper himself - and wear scarves. Why didn't he just zap it away in an instant? You can see it on the top of his head -
Cool. If that's your purpose, then a more fruitful question might be, "Do Scientologists believe they have spiritual powers, and if so, do they believe their spiritual powers are more powerful than others? Yes and yes. They all secretly believe they are more perceptive and aware than others and always were. They believe Scientology enhances this and increases it.

From what I can see the only thing he participated in that seemed to work at all was the babylon working with Jack Parsons and it's pretty hard to say that Hubbard actually did anything to reap the results of that working. He did accomplish that at least; scientology is even more of a self-centered and fascistic 'Age-of Horus' religion than Thelema itself.
Of the Indies and FZers, they don't all believe L Ron had OT powerz. Some think he was "channeling" from an entity, some think he went wrong later. They don't think it matters because they believe THEY get these long-distance and other special powerz because THEY are super special. They believe they had powerz all along. They believe they are elite because of these powerz and they believe scn helps them use them. COS scns don't even focus on L Ron anymore. It's only the old-timers who believed L Ron had super powerz, and that includes some exes who I'd rather not name. L Ron was said to be very good at ordering others around. He had confidence and was confident others would do what he wanted. Why wouldn't he be? He had control of every aspect of their lives. All over Black Rob's thread you see scns convincing themselves and each other they have special superpowerz. Every coincidence, every time things go their way and even when it doesn't, they refer to superpowerz in one way or another. They focus on death, on dissociation from all things physical and physically enjoyable. (Except maybe Kirsty Alley? lulz) I could go on - but the big SECRET is that each of them, regardless of how miserable their lives are, believes they are specially gifted and everyone outside their elite circle are unaware wogs and slaves. Even when they believe a few aren't, they believe they are so much higher above them that the others are spiritual children. Scientologists are children wrapped up and caught in their fantasies with their delusions and prejudices continually reinforced by the group.
The psychology of such self deception is quite well understood. The key is that humans, being pattern recognising experts find patterns where there are none and then have a heavy confirmation bias to reinforce these beliefs.
Super LRH healing powers: The Contact and Touch assists...... Doctors, Schmocksters, medical degrees, bah....... Use the tech........ Like Tom cruise says: As a Scientologist you know you're the only who can help LRH Tchnology Axiom: Never let facts interfere with the 'Tech' and so on and so forth, that is that and that it is is still that, whatever will be, will be and what have you....... .
"New Age Bullies" - (here's some statements which may be well intentioned, but can be insensitive and hurtful, especially when it is a form of victim blaming, or self-blame.) This was sort of interesting, too... http://www.debunkingskeptics.com/LawofAttraction.htm
