Fuck. I thought I'd heard/seen the vast majority of Scientology bombshell recordings. This one takes the cake.

I haven't seen this one in circulation. I see from the notes it's from '88. Did I just miss it? My Google-Fu isn't bringing up much with "wally hanks" +(marco|beating), other than recent references to this vid being released.

Yeah. We know about Hanks' history, and about Mace-Kingsley Ranch. I want to know if this recording has ever been circulated before... and either verify it or shove it out the airlock before all the mother hens here go totally off the rails.

It was posted here by "tippytoe", an account that's been around since April, but has only made 5 posts since then, none of them significant.

It's also been repeated on OCMB with no attribution, by "PTS."

The YouTube account used to release it (anonamace) is also brand-spanking-new (joined Dec 16).

So, to avoid a giant circle-jerk of people referencing each other:

It might be worth a shot to try to contact one of Hanks' victims to see if they recognize his voice. Jane Scott might recognize his voice, and Michael Pattinson might know how to contact her.

I want this verified as much as everyone else does; how did this get recorded if it's true? How can this not be evidence against Wally Hanks? Who is "Marco"?

But as much as dox will verify or lack of dox will disprove, this is far worse than any scarypasta I've ever seen or read. Regardless of the reality, the idea of being beaten viciously because of 'overts' - and at that young of an age - sickens me. Every blow made me shake.

I'm not knocking you here -- just trying to follow the trail of the release of this recording. Is this something you've released, or something you picked-up on OCMB/exscikids and brought here?

As far as I can tell, this was released by ronbot on exscientologykids... and in other posts there he's mentioned a "Marco."

I just want to get to the source... and then ask for the story behind it.

I came across the video today on YouTube, posted by a user called "anonamace". I have watched many videos about Scientology from the old guard vids to now, but this one just chilled me to the bone. I thought it worthy of having some more attention of Anonymous so I posted the link to it here. I have no dox or anything to verify 100% authenticity, but it sure sounded authentic to me.

No problem XenuLovesU. I am not the source of this video/recording. This was posted on YouTube by a user named "anonomace". After listening to it, I personally believe it to be authentic but I certainly can't prove that. Hopefully more proof will come out because of it being posted.

I posted about this Wally Hanks and The Mace-Kingsley Ranch months ago. They are no longer here in New Mexico. They now have a "family center" (whatever the fuck that means) in or near Clearwater. They do purifs there I believe. I don't think Hanks is involved with it now.

Did Hanks ever get busted for being a sex offender? I've searched the offender database in NM, with no hits on anyone with a last name of Hanks. Their DB only goes back to '96 though.

Also ran a national search on Wallace or Wally Hanks through National Sex Offender Registry with no results (dunno how accurate that website is though).

if the 1988 means the year this is 20 years old. How old is wally hanks ?

and put Marco in his late 30's.

Its kinda f'd up but in some schools in some states this is what a trip to the principal's office sounds like. There are some Public schools (as of at least a few years ago) that required parents to sing a "paddle waiver" for their kids to attend) this may not have been considered child abuse at the time (and place) it happened.

True. The jr. high school I went to had corporal punishment (legally) as part of its discipline. There was more than one occasion that I went home black-and-blue... once for chewing gum and mouthing off to the teacher that caught me doing it.

That said... legal or not... 20 years later or not... the barbarity still comes through. Especially the parts where (presumably) Hanks is telling the kid to look at the picture of LRH while he dishes out the punishment... and afterward needs to leave to get his "TR's in."

If this recording can be verified, it's still a bombshell... for the same reasons Lisa McPherson, Paulette Cooper, and Operation Snow White are still bombshells for people that haven't been exposed to the information.

Personally, I think this story mostly reflects on how fucked-up Wally Hanks was, but it also goes a long way toward showing how little oversight there is where Scientology "tech" is being applied.

OK, if people actually were beaten by this guy, they need to come forward and TALK TO THE FBI! This is what brought down FLDS and got them /r/aided by the police and feds. All child abuse in scientology needs to be brought forward to the FBI. So far about the only people who have talked to the FBI are a handful of scilons and anonymous. If there are people who were at that ranch, they need to get up to the FBI and talk and they need to do it NOW. There has never been a better time to deliever this kind of punch to the cult. This could be the knockout blow, but only if people have the courage to speak up. Any evidence needs copied and then turned in. Even if it's just your experiences, go talk to them and give a sworn statement and be 100% truthful about everything. There has to be a mountain of testimony if the stories I keep hearing about this guy are true.

What really pisses me off is why is this only showing up now? Is there any context as to who recorded it and why? Where did it come from?

It looks like a vhs tape with a still image of someone in a mask dubbed over it.

Edit: this probably won't stay up on youtube very long once the cult finds it, make sure there is backups.

Questions: why is there a snippet of VHS footage at the beach? Is this a nod to someone having the original? Did scilons videotape the beating?

Can some audioninja take the .wav and do some FFT on it? What is that noise? It sounds like playback on a vinyl LP. Is it 60Hz motor noise? Scilons did have outdated technology like gramaphones, but the noise doesn't appear to be 45rpm or 33rpm.

Seriously we need to know the static noise frequency.. Is it constant? Did it speed up by the end of the recording. It really sounds to me like vinyl, but if is it audio why wouldn't they use a tape recorder? And if it was audio from VHS maybe this is static from the VHS playback, but it doesn't sound like any static I've heard of. One possibility is tracking can introduce this kind of noise (maybe).

Wally Hanks is listed as donating to Seattle ideal org which would have been early 2005.

People Searches have a Wallace E Hanks age approx 60 living in Auburn, WA in 2002.
But the 2005 King County Assesor page lists the current owner of that address as someone different.
However at one time a an Auburn company SUCCESSTECH had the same address once associated with Hanks.


This "seems" to fit as other addresses associated with this Wally are:

Can we confirm Reserve, NM was the pedocamp?
This name also comes up with the usual scilon indicators of Bankruptcy filings & County Tax Liens.

Yes, Mace-Kingsley Ranch was in Reserve, NM. It was moved there from CA. So that is the Wally Hanks we're talking about here.

The reason this may not have been brought to light before is to protect the kid, Marco. Also anonamace said in comments that the Co$ has killed people for less then this. So he/she is obviously afraid of the co$. Okay, I know, tin foil and all that, but that's what the person said.

On a different note, weren't there several threads at the start of this about some pedophile scientologist in the Seattle area with some former victims contacting someone. The gist of it was that they were willing to speak out if something would be done about the guy. At least one of the victims no longer lived in the US.

ETA: There were also come concerns expressed that the individual was still working with children. The identification was based off of pictures of the scilon from protests.

The first two seconds of the tape are recorded from some television show. There is an NBC network logo in the bottom corner of the screen.
