Williams City Directories go back to the 1900's for most major metropolitan areas. Most local libraries have the old versions in their main repositories. Great for historical address checking. And they're alphbetized by LAST NAME (also can be searched by address...)

Remember the saga of Tilden? Culties came to that town disguised as "Friends of Hubbard."

Surely there's a "Friends of David Miscavige," right?

    RIGHT?

hehe, hey Davey: DUDE U HAZ NO FRIENDS!

Davey has verbalized his fear of physical abuse in prison.

Was he cornholed in the shower in high school?
Would that motivate his leaving, to pursue a religious lifestyle?

An asthmatic dwarf with a temper in highschool? think about it, he might as well have been wearing a sign saying "bully me"

Re: DM, The High School years...

Could anal abuse have manifested itself as the seat of David Miscavige's rage?

Pennypacker could be the last place he ever had friends.

He was insecure, nervous, and sickly when his dad pulled him out of there to go audit thetans in Saint Hill. Since he was ~ 10, he's been surrounded by crazy cultists who taught him to be even crazier still. Regardless of the cultists though, he spent those late pre-teen and early-teen years when most children practice construction and and maintenance of strong social bonds, integration into their communities bouncing around the planet in search of space ghosts.

    slightly expanded timeline:

When would he have ever found the M, E, S or T to discover friends?

Maybe a few months in 1972 or late 1976, while hiding from scary OTs who ran the Estates Project Forces; but David seems to have coped with the awkardness of n00bishness not through bonding with peers but instead by pulling capers on his supervisors.

Being the scrawny runt (who his father bullied into joining the Little League?) it would have been hard to make friends when he was little, but in his brief HS career it would have been far worse. Even for a Homo Novis, the 4-year hole in his studies would be hell to make up.

Its hard to make friends when you're the scrawny runt, fresh off the boat and several years behind everyone else, but add in LRH's superiority complex and I think you're just fucked.

Packin' Pennies - one hell of a childhood :(
but it might be the only one he ever got

Physically small, sickly and weak, so uneducated as to be unable to pass 10th grade.

Any wonder about the source of temper tantrums and "Napoleon complex"?

I researched this subject extensively because I very much wanted to get a photo of DM for my blog mostlikelytokill (Most Likely To Kill). DM went to, but did not graduate from Marple-Newtown Senior High School at 120 Media Line Road in Newtown Sq., PA. DM would have been in the Class of 1978. I called the Librarian and they told me that they would not even look him up in the yearbook for me. I also tried the local public library, but unfortunately they don't have copies of the yearbook. Finally, I contacted all of the people listed on the Marple-Newtown alumni webpage for the Class of '78. No one was willing to help me out with a scan. One person, however, did confirm that he remembered DM attending the school. If I ever track down a yearbook photo, I will let you know.

also there's David Miscavige's irrational fear of surprise buggery causing him to make bizarre preemptive remarks in legal depositions.

Maybe something bad happened to him in the trouser department when he was a schoolboy?
If he was in England in the early/mid 70's then, being the runt that he is, he might just have experienced the usual public school style of fagboy treatment, using his buttcrack to toast crumpets in front of the Head Boy's roaring fire.

Yes, and worse. You should see the factual documentary "Ripping Yarns - Tomkinson's Schooldays" probably available on youtube.

Re: DM, The High School years...

Wasn't he the official little cameraman guy?

Now, you have young women running around with ashtrays, and the madman LRH, and the little man with the camera bigger than his whole body taping it all...

Come on. A psychopath like LRH? Anything's possible.
Maybe this is why DM is so fucked up. He is the one that cannot unsee.

Either way, the slide downward has truly begun...

In addition to whatever his childhood was like; having lots of money and absolute power sure doesn't help, to say the least.
