Thanks, but it's not enough to quell my skepticism quite yet.

Scientology has been known to lie about who is supporting them, claiming support from all sorts of well-regarded people who, if asked, would explain that while they may have lent some support 20 years ago, they no longer do so today, and that Scientology still uses their name 20 years later without permission.

So is there any information coming straight from the doctor herself that she still supports Scientology's Narconon?

If action is to be taken to expose this doctor, it's good to be sure.

G. Megan Shields is just a Family Practice physician with no specialty training, fellowships or Board Certifications.

She is not a doctor I would take my child to nor is she any sort of authority on psychology. However G. Megan Shields does appear to be an opportunistic money hungry dangerous doctor that sold her soul to scientology.

She also is Not A Member of the American Medical Association(AMA) after checking current California records.

I did a search on last name Shields only. There are some Shields listed, but she's not one of them, not in any of the 50 states plus DC!

The fact that she uses the old name "American Board of Family Practice" (pre-2005) makes me wonder if she lost her board certification a long time ago.

This quack and her scilon-based quackery must be exposed. Seems like she has flown under the radar for a long time and been able to live a pretty cush life at the expense of her victims like Uwe Stuckenbrock. Time for Anons to turn up the heat under her ass.

Based on other general practice medical journal articles published in the NIH.gov PubMed archive, it appears that whenever a MD who originally held the american board family medicine certification under the old board name, got re-certified in the later half of 2005 or beyond, they begin to use the new board name from that point on. So they are essentially the same thing, and the 1989 dox in this thread were using the legit board name for that era.

So the relevant question would be - is she currently using the new board name? If not - her specialty board certification is old and possibly expired.
