Anyone got a spare $3,500,000

Somebody is selling the worlds largest privately owned scientology library on E-bay for $3,500,000.I have heard rumours that it might be a high level,well known Scifag whos had enough,but hey its just a rumour.Does anyone have any info on who is selling and why?

I have a VHS video tape with two episodes of "The Bachelorette", AND about twenty pages of printouts of some WWP forum discussions.

This is not some random collection of bullshit from a nut-job, dead, cult founder.

Even though these things are valuable data beyond price, I don't want them, or need them. Offers over $10 million USD considered. Honestly, this stuff is more valuable than money.

If this auction predates Chanology, doesn't it strike anyone as odd, that the COFs wouldn't have just destroyed it? They would have had 3 years to destroy it.

If this is real and not just an attempt to scam or get intel, the only value in it would be the few scant lectures which are very scandalous/embarrassing that have not yet been leaked (such as LCNRH-4B 12 Apr Flying Saucers). That being said, they wouldn't be of too much value in destroying the cult because there is more scandalous/embarrassing material leaked than there is covered up.

From a historical point of view, any historian who was interested would know that all you have to do is wait until the cult collapsed and get the material from one of their vaults. So this stuff is of no value and probably is not really for sale.

Also, they did in fact try and succeed (temporarily) at getting eBay to pull all Scientology-material auctions.

Scientology already has an enemies list and spends its dwindling resources actively investigating them. There's no need for them to passively try to find new ones.
