Epic Fail Cannon useful?

Discussion in 'Help Iran Online' started by Unregistered, Jul 3, 2009.

  1. Hi, I've been trying slowloris both in windows and perl (perl didn't work and since I apparently can't get that IO::Socket::SSL package working decently) and I'm now moving to the Python version.

Yet, I found another tool, the epic fail cannon thingy : - shorten that long URL into a tiny URL

Is this any useful when using TCP attack? Too dangerous due to bandwidth problems? Advice needed, n00b on this side of the keyboard...

I had that problem. Fixed it by installing it via RPM instead of CPAN.

DAG: perl-IO-Socket-SSL RPM packages for Red Hat, CentOS and Fedora
  3. I'm -alas- still playing on windows...

Get VMWare player and download a linux vm from their appliance section. Its much more efficient and will run ontop of windows.
  5. off course... I have one actually :) stupid me...
