Bogata, Colombia website, for "Remodeling Experts"

I needed to use Google Translate to figure out what they wrote.

Although the renovations on the Freewinds were done several years ago, these photos were only posted online this week.

Numerous comparison photos, of Durante (during) and Despues (after) renovations. Sample of some of the photos below. More photos in the link.

Although there are lots of photos of the highest price Presidential-type suite posted on the website, it is unrealistic for the bulk of the Freewinds passengers. I'm not going to post the many photos of the highest price suite here; see website for those photos.

Prices for most Freewinds packages include the 4-bed accomodation, not the high-priced suites. Most people who go to the Freewinds stay in the 4-bed cabins, like this one.

    That was a good find.

I hope the people who did the work were treated better than some of the ones who worked on it earlier, as mentioned in the See the Freewinds in Dry Dock in September thread:

Is Netherlands Antilles now part of the US, where its judges can now issue rulings? WTF?!

For comparison, a 4 bed cabin, before the 2008 renovations.

Asbestos reports must be forwarded to the refit companies, in Spanish.

Also, lots of new places to hide cocaine if the Medellin cartels need to.

I know. That ikea stuff just doesn't last- and white is only good if you don't have much traffic...

I like how the four-person bunk used to have a dresser and now it has a desk- perfect for those solo nots.

And the TV in the luxury suite. What do they do? Pipe in Tom Cruise movies and Battlefield Earth? Who has time to watch TV anyway?

Or a move set from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

If they do allow smoking in the room, that white is going to suffer.

  19. Then it will be a lovely ivory ensemble with irregular 'burn-out' design work.

In three years time it will be called the Louise Boat

Eventually known as the Chocolate Tar Room, but I expect that the ship's hull will have rusted like a VW Beetle exposed to road salt by then.
