February 14 - Ottawa Ontario - Post Game Feb 14, 2009 Finally, after two months away, we got back to protesting. Didn't have a great turnout, but we had fun anyway. Highlights: When the police came after being called, it was for panhandlers and left without speaking to us. No other police came. We caught a bad spy, grabbing photos of us from besides the Second Cup, and got several photos of him. Informed several new people about the craziness of and about Scientology. We had our own volcano: Thetans included. Caek, hot chocolate, and cheeseburgers A photographer from a Bellville paper asked to take our photos for their paper. As far as I know ('cause I asked), it's not going to be posted online anywhere, but if it is, we'll certainly link to it. The guy was really nice. Toward the end of the protest, a kind woman offered to buy us coffee. I took up the offer. My fingers needed it and enjoyed it. Right before entering the Rideau Shopping Centre, we came across an anti-fur PeTA protest, including a protester for that protest. I'll post the videos as soon as I can.
