I already asked for the 14th off from work! 14th good, eh? Make the vote now because by planning ahead now we can make sure this will be an epic BIG WIN for us all. This month I have talked to some anon from part of the protests that started early last year. Unfortunately found out or caught up in a new stuff since that early part of this war on CoS. But if you can please come to the feb protest, our one year mark - still strong and have already won some battles. I can go on but speaking with you all I know you know the stakes and that as long as CoS doesn't at least admit its crimes its still important what we do. The numbers don't matter of who is out there behind masks because many more KNOW now. Many more help in different ways. But still we need to erase that idea that maybe we have faded just because we aren't out there - to say those of us there feb 10th 2008 are still here and more in 2009 and forward. If not each weekend, if not once a month at least every year on the birth of our COLLECTIVE cause or even just this once to prove what we all know to be true.

Vote and put up a post. Any advice, any related stuff. What works best for yourself and organizing our crew to make this epic.

My advice:
Don't go on the bus with masks on. Carpool, march with others, id safe/friendly eateries, do whatever to protect your id while still not being noticed or feared as a person with a mask. I continued to ride the bus with the masks when the protester numbers died down and a police car stopped the bus although we convinced the driver my friend and I weren't terrorists, showing our bags had flyers and explaining the situation.

Get Sci-spies to react to you:
If you think you are being followed confront (don't attack) or bait the spy. Bait by going around in circle, stopping, go to places of infrequent traffic, etc to confirm the following and either they stop or if not just ask if they are CoS. Be kind, use camera to defend yourself because they won't attack when you got evidence on them of following or other anon as eye-witness. Think on your feet.

14th is the ideal date. Although it isn't as close to the 10th as the 7th, it is Valentine's Day, which you can use in all sorts of advertising / PR stuff. And a lot of people seem to already be planning to be down for that day. This needs to be decided ASAP because there is a chance a lot more people will come out for the 'anniversary' if they are reminded.

It would be best if everyone did it on one day instead of different cities doing different days. This way it's a bigger impact on them.

I vote 14. Easy theme to play off of, is the second Saturday of the month (which we should go back to, is easier), and in the time I'm out, hopefully, someone will have ripped and uploaded the Manson album that's supposed to come out that day.
Even if it is VD, few people will have full-day commitments, assuming they have commitments at all. You can show up and still make it in time for dinner, even if you're there for only a couple hours.
