Speakers are not paid, but some may require financial assistance with fares and accommodation. All speakers are available for media interviews. The entire conference and megaraid will be video'd and live streamed.

If anyone is on the fence about supporting this financially, will you please make the leap? We need to pay the deposit on the venue to set it in concrete.

Why did they buy So We Are Gay bags? And what are they anyway?

Rumor has it that the original bags were supposed to read "Waffles Please", but there was a huge mix up at the swag bag factory.
The "So We Are Gay" bags were slated to go out to the OSA building in DC, but the factory sent them to us instead. That is why all the factory workers went straight to ethics to be handled and then were fired.

Amax why am I not on the speaker list?

So good idea- can we haz a few speakers who are Anonymous? Or several for a 30 min time period?
I like the idea of fucking with the COS, anons speaking, masks, etc.
Or maybe:
An Anonymous theatrical presentation or dancing in-between speakers. San fran anyone?
I would like that.
OR maybe one where everyone is wearing Hawaiian shirts and backpacks? Or singing louanne comments from tabloid hell.

Have you considered contacting Leah Remini , Jason Beghe or someone with a few bucks who can fund this thing with their eyes closed? Or maybe they can at least put a serious dent in the $25,000 goal.
