Chapter One - My First Raid

    1. You start the day walking into the Internet Cafe. Your Anon friend is already there, suited up, and wearing his Guy Fawkes mask.
    2. You talk to him, and after a short conversation, he gives you your first set of equipment: a Bandanna and Shades, a Trench Coat, an Afro Wig, and a Religion is Free Scientology is Neither Sign.
    3. You talk to your friend again after you suit up, you look on WWP to find out that the raid begins at 8 A.M. That's in one hour.
    4. Your friend then gives you 500 Jewgoldz, and tells you to stock up on Caek, etc.
    5. You finally leave, and the game fast-forwards to the Org.
    6. This is where you get your third party member. You have your choice of Wise Beard Man (OG), AnonGirl 7 (Ex Scilon), or Epic Sword Guy (/i/nsurgent).
    7. The trolling starts by going up and talking to Scilons. When you do, a battle starts.
    8. The boss of this level is Vicky Boyce. Beat her, and back at the Internet Cafe, you and your friends party. You check WWP, and click on the results for your first raid. Vicky Boyce was RPF'd!
    9. Chapter One ends.

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

Other tools I looked at and other ideas I had. You don't have to use them, just take note in case they are useful.

A tool that let you walk around in a weird kind of "3D". Total cocks, it looked like shit. Don't waste your time on it in my opinion.

A scripting system that let you customize party layout and who was in your party or even have up to 8 party members. This was fucking neat. I may have the script in the .zip file, but I don't remember. I did play with a demo of it and was very impressed with that. Look for RPG maker XP scripts and you will eventually find it. It was very well written and very popular so it should be easy to come by if I didn't include it.

There are tons of other scripts out there that may fill needs such as airships or vehicles as needed, so take a look and see what you can find.

A few more things that I added that I thought were lulzy:
Sounds - When someone gets to zero hitpoints, their status is "namefagged". It plays a sound clips from Big Trouble in Little China when they get jumped by the lords of death (OSA, lol) and one of them says Wang's name. Jack says, "They know your name" and Wang replies, "That's not good!". I have the sound file in the .zip and it's funny as hell, but I needed to make it louder. You can edit that and use that if you want.

To get un namedfagged, my ideas were that you could find a hacker in town who, for a very heafty fee, would hack into the CoS and delete your info from OSA records and thus allow you to get back into The Game.

I'll post other fun ideas as I have them. Again just use what you want, but hopefully some of these will be useful.

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

That's awesome! I would suggest using google docs (use the publish on the web option) to write all these ideas out so everyone working on this can see them unless you are doing this solo.

Do the story, but also make tables beforehand of enemies, weapons, armor, spells (attack/protect/heal) and items (caek = heal, red bull = dex boost, ritalin = intelligence/magic power boost, emp pulse charge = erase OSA camera to un namefag someone in battle (make this rare).

Those kinds of things. Making the charts helps you lay out what you will be putting in as well as to do some initial balancing in the game of costs and what effects the items have versus what you will be up against. The goal is to educate but also not make the game too easy or too hard. Just enough challenge to be fun and keep you interested is the goal.

Chapter Two: The Epic Fail Brigade

    1. You walk into the internet cafe, and several Anons are butthurt and bawwwwing to eachother.
    2. You ask what's up, and you find out that two Anons, AnonOrange and AGP went into an org and pissed on the floor.
    3. You LOL at this, and ask why this is a problem. Your friend tells you that they're the EFB, and are now v& by the cult.
    4. You then go onto WWP, and you decide to go on one of two quests (but not both).
    5. The first choice is to talk to Graham Berry (an OG) and see what he can do about getting AO and AGP out.
    6. The second choice is to intercept Graham Berry on his way to the court house, and convince him to let AGP and AO sit in jail for being dumbfucks.
    7. No matter which one you choose, Scilons intercept you guys at the court house, and a mini-boss fight ensues against Tom Newton and two Bullbaiters.
    8. The end result is basically the same; Graham Berry joins your party. The only difference is that if you chose to let AGP and AO go to jail, you don't hear from them again for a while, and a lulzy article shows up on WWP and 888chan.
    9. If you choose to bail them out, you are introduced to one of the game's biggest bosses, Ken Moxon, and you get a chance to recruit AGP (but not AO, he's a faggot).
    10. After this chapter, "Newton's Revenge" shows up on /i/ as an optional Raid quest.

Yeah, I made some notes last night... but they were rather indecipherable when I woke up today. I'm not doing anything today, so I can put some things together.
Kind of a mish-mash between your ideas as well as the OP's groundwork.

This would be epic. Although, I don't know anyone that can make 3D art. :(

Chapter Three - Revenge on the Stress Test

    1. You walk into the cafe, and no one is there, except for the guy at the register.
    2. You ask wtf is going on, and he says that they went to go screw with the Stress Test table on Third Street. You realize that this is the same Stress Test Table that almost hooked you.
    3. Before you leave, you have the opportunity to go on the internet to buy new equipment. Guy Fawkes Masks, Pimp Coats, Trollcannons, and Rickroll are all now in stock (maybe more, it's up to you).
    4. Once you suit up, you walk out the door, and the game fastforwards to the table. The trolling is fierce, and you show up during a Rickroll.
    5. The enemies here include three Newfag Scilons, an OT I, and a Bullbaiter. Once you troll them, a car arrives, and out comes Ron Savelo and two more OT I's.
    6. Once you win the boss fight, Ron starts throwing a huge fit, and almost gets violent before a cop shows up and v&s him. You return to the internet cafe, and WWP is on fire with cheers of "Epic Win" and "Don't Drop the Soap, Ron!". You are starting to make a name for yourself.
    7. Your reward for this win is a boatload of EXP, and access to the Thunderdome, where you can fight anyone you have already fought in the past for the same EXP and Jewgoldz you won from them in the past. Several new Troll Skills are also available to buy on WWP and 888chan.

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

I've got some notes put together for various characters. I'm also leery of using actual people without permission. For one, Anons like their anonymity. Two, crazy batshit scifags may try to sue over copyright infringement. In both cases, that isn't to say its not possible to change a few small details.

Weapons/items will take a bit longer. Once I've got a more complete list, I'll post it up here. In the meantime, keep the plot and discussion rolling.

    Lol, my thoughts was
    >"Ducks Inna Barrel" : You are a heavily armed shooper schekret Scilon FPS, the 'psyche-ducks' and 'doc-ducks' are massing by the ponds, your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to herd them into 'barrels' and blast the crap outta them, they can shoot back with pickets, and everytime you miss a shot gives a 'brick' to be used as a tunnel for other ducks to escape.
    >'Eshcape from RPF' Figure out how to jump the fence, find food and $, evade the forces of Co$, and recconect with the world outside/family, turn, and hit back to free others, a mpprpg.
    >'Davey M's Eckstreem Boxing' Your character gets trapped, made to stand onna table, DM comes in with boxing gloves on and beats the crap outta you, you have a wet noodle to whip back with.... master the noodle, steal Dm's gloves, beat him into submission till he gives you the sekret codes to the vaults, whip your way to freedom with dox and win caeks at the nearest picket. (oh ya, they all needs works man! :D )
    >"Creates yer Own Religion" Pick from lists of choices to make, ie 'Gods, no Gods, for money, use mioney for self, using food, hypnosis, beatings, blackmail..blah blah...' , generate a success rate ;) Multiple choice Q's, the bigger the base the better.
    >'Thetan Killa' Armed with the 'Sling-shot of Knowledge' you pick off body thetans from victims to win allies from the victims, who shoot back with 'pamphlet guns' until hits turn them around.
    >'Davey's Drinking game' Out drink Davey and be able to run away before you're shot. Game of chance based on roulette wheel :D

Gah! gotta stops, night, bedtime, morning comes.................. :) (srylsly bored eh)

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

Ah, (new user here, btw) how does anon feel about "summons"?
Nothing real improbable, but if you are going to put in Mudkipz and Longcat in, then perhaps they could be learned after completing a specific objective (To draw an example (-_-) Final Fantasy has it so that you can kill a dragon and get a spell to summon him in battle.)

although if you are concerned about suing...
If I recall correctly, (and i would love for someone who knows better to tell me) there's a thing about Parodies in the Copyright law that pretty much says that if they fall under fair-use, it's legal. As long as we take care to not tread on anything that they would claim "Trade Secret" on (such as the content of the Docs) then it should be fine. Now I could be wrong, though, as most parodies change the name of the places slightly.
Of course, extreme care would also have to be taken to avoid being overly harsh.

However after taking a look into a law site on parodies... The law on it is HUGE on financial impact, which $cientology can claim by the release of this, which would put this in a bad situation, as with an insane cult that is willing to call in bomb threats on it's own "churches," we can't safely try to get out of it by saying we would try to keep it small and just on the internet. They would easily copy and distribute it just to try to shut a small part of us down.

Tread carefully, imo. Here there be lawdragons.

that said: Seriously, a battle against either Longcat or Tacgnol seems like it would be awesome to me... (but idk about the rest of ya'll) and the idea of Anonymous being heroes in a video game is totally fucking awesome.

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

Hey. Why have I never seen this thread before? I wish I would have known since I am a semi-proffessional game developer. I am familiar with RPG Maker XP and have lots of experience in creating simple RPGs using default scripts + downloaded scripts and some experience in editing a bit of RGSS. (the programming language) I have experience in editing sprite sheets t create somewhat customised graphics.

In addition, i'm experienced in flash devlopment and AS2 (Flash's programming language) and, in theory, could quite easily create an RPG from the ground up (minus artwork).
I have a good knowledge of C++ and am beginning to learn how to do 2D and 3D games in C++ - not enough to actually do it yet though.

The problem is that my computer is broken. Now I have a good reason to fix it though. Give me some time and I will try to put something together in RMXP or Flash (Hell I could even make an RPGXP game and use flash for in-game cutscenes). I have a decent knowledge of the communities for both these areas, so I could get my hands on some decent royalty free content quite easily.

    Welp, there's already this flash-game available a while back>
Escape From Scientology Land Game - Free Online Adventure Games - Flash Arcade Games (its three part, I believe this link is the first, could be wrong tho)
I think the whole story could be epically told and molded into some fun RPG's or MMPG's, man, its not like there ain't enough material, and its mostly so bizarre that a few changes would protect it, especially if based on actual dox they refuse to admit to. Hell, you could even semi-quote old Flubbernutz himself! As far as I can see everything they have publicly denied could be fair game in such an endeavor, but beyond that, just the slimy-schlippery trail of slug-dust they leave is moar than enough material for several interesting games. Personally I think the 'escape' ones are the way ta go, many aspects could be dealt with as well as a good cult inoculation dose fer da kids :)

    Edits, new ideas>
    >The Bridge to Nowhere: An unwinnable game where each player must use lie, cheat and steal money tactics (mini games?) to pay for further advancement over the 'Bridge', knock-backs for running into Longcats, pickets, caeks, GF anons, etc.. When a player actually succeeds in getting near the end.........well, reality, "You have errored, please return to square one and proceed like nothing happened." bank acct cleared etc. etc. blah blah :)
    >Sec Check: Where everything you do is wrong, try to find the lies that make you 'zoomz' ahead.
    >Beans & Rice: Pick through the rice and chase the beans to increase your protien levels XD
    >Freewinds Cruise: steer a boat where nothing works before your cancer level rises, try not to end up in the 'chain locker' or bilges, failure to meet certain criteria gets you tossed overbaord.
    >Picket: Evade sign stealing scilons handing out BlackPR neg bombs, group moar than three together for wins (gahk, dunno, just blatherin' around)
    >.........oh, so many moar..................... :)

Re: Game On: Making RPG games against the cult.

It would be an interesting trap, nonetheless.
With the amount of lawyers they have though, i'm still wondering if they can't come up with something to catch such a game with a lawsuit with something crazy.
But hey, this is anonymous, we're the internet biker gang with warm, fuzzy hearts that protects orphans, abused kids, and small kittens. We understand there's a law system, but we also understand that you can't sue people you don't know.

Can't believe it took awhile to realize that really the worst that seems possible is for a site with the game hosted on it being taken down.
