Getting "Server Error" all the time

It seems like about half the time I try to post or "like" something I get a red pop-up thing that says something like, "server error. try again later."

Is this a thing with my account, or is the site having some problems?

    Please advise...

  5. I only get that when I try to click the "like" button for an anonymous posting. Weird.

The server said you can't like anyone cause no one likes you. Sorry. Sometimes the server can be so harsh.

Sometimes WWP likes to herp derp while derping on the herp.
I usually get errors when posting or liking. As a recommendation, just refresh (F5 is your friend) and you will see that everything worked out so fine.

We (mods and admins) are trying to keep track of it. Just be patient, please.

Feed the hamsters in the server. Problem Solved.

Have someone checked that the data structure that stores all the likes for user anonymous has not overflowed? Perhaps the fix is as simple as increasing the size of an array?

I also get it when I respond to anonymous posts.

Hamsters are actually protesting because they want some dental plan. No because they aren't feed.
We are still trying to negotiate with them...if anyone knows Hamsterian, it would be more than helpful. We need a translator.

Are you sure? I am sure they look like this:

Shit just sometimes happens. Wait 5 seconds and try again; will be ok.

    • don't try to like Anon posts, it's not working.
    • when you add your own post and get an error, it probably did work. The error is erroneous.
  19. Anonymous Member

    This message contains an error.

    Message #20 contains an error.
  21. Admin is working on the problem. Here's a workaround for Mac Users.
    1. When you get one of those Error Messages when trying to post something, open the thread you are posting to in another Browser Window/Tab.
    2. Scroll to the bottom to see if in fact the message was posted. Typically, it has been posted, regardless of the Error Message stating otherwise.
    3. Go back to the window/tab you were working in to compose and post the message and close it.
If you continue trying to post after the error message, multiple posts of the same post will occur.

I get the same, but then on the post it can change 'like' to 'unlike', just without seemingly to liking it.

    I don't like this.

Refresh and problem is solved, always.
Just because someone tells you it ain't working doesn't actually means it ain't working...
    Someone = Server this time.

If you would open the fridge and the fridge said "I'm locked" would you believe it?
    Come on people.
  25. If that was so you would have seen "likes" on anonymous posts by now. BTW, I have tried the refresh button and no it doesn't solve it yet.
