Anyone wanting any help for a worthy cause needs to know that one person's "project" is another person's (most other people's) "Duh wat naow?" What your friend needs is one of those mobile PC repair places. There are some indepenpent computer nerd companies that are quite skilled and often reasonable. Call and ask what makes them better than the other place in the phonebook. Have your friend with the computer problems ask any friends who can recommend someone competent in your area. Or, look at highly-rated listing on the net. Since it looks like you were unable to create a desired relationship here, it seems like you're going to use a service like everyone else. Just standing for truth here ....
