I have been quite busy doing research on the matter and harpoons while a great short-time idea may even backfire. Only the producer of the original video should contact JewTube to file a counter-DMCA request. Now it's up to the person who claimed copyright to inform JT if they will take you to court.
Another problem will be that we win the DMCA claim, but depending on the content of the video (personal attacks or defamation - impossible with $cilons) might bite you in the ass.
Should they take you to court, you will need a lawyer that can represent you in Federal Court (in whatever district you're at). Still it could take a long time and is not certain.

Sorry if some get now the idea that I see the pro-Cult but I have done my homework. It takes money and time - and most of us don't get a paycheck from the pharmacy industry (see recent layoffs) - to take on a money packed cult.

I'm still looking at other solutions to get another organization to fight our court battles.

I have three law firms located in the Northern District Courts of California willing to take this to court, so we would technically remain anons, but my name will be released in the lawsuit along with counter suits and subpoenas.

I can have the creators of the videos sign of the rights to the videos anonymously, they then become "my property" while I sue the shit out of YouTube. Anon Media LLC lolz, I can see it now. That is the basic way they have told me to get around the DMCA claims.

^ I like this idea. Bit queasy on the whole signing rights over unless there is a clause that allows people to freely copy it with you as the copyright holder.

I can get an apartment there. It's not really a legit case, it's a hold it in court as long as you can ordeal. The longer it's in court, the more it costs YouTube.

Didn't you just sabotage this case? All they have to do is quote you saying its without merit, it will be dismissed, and you will be liable for costs of filing a frivolous lawsuit.

you dont need proof that someone is anonymous. If they say they are, then they are. Theres no badge they need to carry to be an official member of the amorphous leaderless mass. Theres no membership list. There isnt even a concept of "membership".

I talked shit about anon and Tory Magoo, several people with youtube accounts promoting chanology left negative comments and encouraged everyone to flag me, and then my video was removed.

I realize that, and sorry if I make it seem otherwise. Its hard to talk about these things and still respect the diversity of anonymous.

I mean, you could also say that some anonymous support scientology.

The point is, a LARGE number of anonymous defend Tory.

BTW, addressing every single point someone makes about anonymous by saying "we're not all like that" is pretty weak. Just because youre a diverse group doesnt mean that its off limits to address large subsections of anonymous when large numbers of anonymous express a specific opinion or support a specific idea.

I'm just saying that while you're upset about what some people calling themselves anonymous did to your video, it doesn't necessarily stand to reason that those you're talking to HERE had anything to do with it, and you might just be barking up the wrong tree.

There are groups from the chans who despise anyone having anything to do with the CoS. They also call themselves anonymous. The ones who made the news with the no cussing kid....THEY called themselves anonymous, and THEY aren't US, either.


Do you see my point? It doesn't matter if the argument is weak. The fact remains that there are several different groups calling themselves the same name, with SOME crossover, but by no means uniform crossover.

It's far too unique a situation to be able to define it with any sense at all, really.

Look guy, I am the only person who showed up to the pittsburgh chanology protest in december, and Ive had quite a few problems with moderators on this site banning me for speaking my mind.

I am told I am the only person to have ever been banned for posting in the Thunderdome, and it wasnt even porn or obscenity, just speaking my mind about anonymous and scientology.

Since you have already deleted one of my posts here for no apparent reason, and seem to think its funny, I will be screenshotting everything I post in this thread so you cant lie and claim I never posted it after suppressing my free speech again (like you just did 5 minutes ago).

Anonymous is a new thing we're all trying to get a handle on. Never has there been a group like this because the technology is so new.

Most "anonymous" are absolutely for free speech. But anybody can do or say things that undermine that sort of altruistic predisposition. So be it. We're all learning as we go and I'm confident that once the dust settles (if it hasn't already), we'll find that most Anonymous are free-speech first and free-speech second and so on.

Evil and corruption fails in the light of free speech because, luckily, or whatever, most people are basically good. And that good dissolves the bad thanks to the new speed of information flow/accessibility.

There will always be slight shorcomings with our methods... but it's a small price to pay.

I think youre most likely a good guy, like the people I met at the protests.

However, since you seem to "run with the pack" more than I do, it may surprise you how many of your comrades dont give a flying fuck about free speech when it comes to things they dont want to hear.

I am absolutely serious when I say that people representing anonymous/chanology mass flagged a video of mine off of youtube because I was criticizing tory magoo.

This mod guy whos posting here now also apparently removed one of my posts from this thread and is now laughing about it. And hey thats fine, its funny that he has the power to suppress my free speech and I cant do anything about it, but he cant do that AND claim to be for free speech.

Thats the thing, if youre all about the lullz, then fine, be funny, do your thing, but know that it may be at the expense of whatever you claim to stand for. Apparently this mod thinks selling out his ideals is worth a few cheap laughs, and thats his decision. Maybe his ideals werent worth a damn thing to begin with.

If you really think that most anonymous are for absolute free speech, then why dont you try criticizing them on this site?

Then it disappeared, and youre the only one I see around here with a red screen name.

If it wasnt you, then it was someone else. Whoever it was is not for freedom of speech, and unfortunately they have been given privilege to delete posts on this site.
