Pat Harney CoS spokesperson in Haiti also mentioned the CoS intention to open an orphanage. there was also a Local Florida Fox News report On Claude Jean and his family who arrived in Florida after the Earthquake evacuated on John Travoltas private airplane..the story is about how his 4 children all received full scholarship from the Clearwater academy a Scientology and Claude Jean appeared Briefly in the report Surrounded by Scientology books in the report to talk about the scholarships from the CoS school. this is suspect because the CoS never gives anything away without strings attached.. Restaveks: or Child Slaves of Haiti are commonplace and accepted practice in Haiti estimates have the number of children at around 300,000 before the earthquake. orphanages and people that run orphanages play a major role in child slave trafficking, you are more likely to find the practice of Restaveks taking place in orphanages than not. it is the normal way of doing business and many so-called respectable people in Haiti partake in the system of abuse. It is also recognized by the Government In Haiti a government that looks the other way..regarding this horrible practice..many of the people who run orphanages are well to do by Haitians standards and profiteer off the misery of children. while much of the society looks the other way or condones its practices.
