Re: HALLOWEEN 08 Last halloween, a marketing company in Chicago hired DePaul students (in costume) to pass out their NAKED granola as part of a promotional push, it was nice to open the door, expecting to give out treats and be handed them instead. Chatted with the students a bit, and they were having a ball, people were very pleasantly surprised to get a nice treat. Also, year before, fundamentalist Christians were passing out flyers door to door saying that halloween is the devil etc.

Re: HALLOWEEN 08 Yeah, but joining in with the Halloween crowd on the 31st will give us more people to get our message to. They will have to look at the stuff we give them. Example... so 8 or so of us Anonymous get our masks on and take a shit load of flyers with us. We knock on every door, and when the people open the door expecting trick or treaters, they are semi-shocked when we end up giving them something in return...FLYERS!!! They might start reading it right away and start a conversation. Anyways, we could get a pure shit load out, to almost every single house in whole neigborhoods.

Re: HALLOWEEN 08 I love this idea. And, as it will be Halloween, GF masks will be much easier to come across for those who don't already have them! It's also something that Anons without an org in their city or within travel distance can do with no trouble.

Re: HALLOWEEN 08 You'd be surprised where they celebrate it now. It's even celebrated in some parts of Germany, from what I recall. It's hard to pass up a chance to dress like an imbecile and get candy. If you don't do halloween, there MUST be some sort of day where you can dress up. Carnival, Guy Fawkes Day, Hitler's Birthday, whatever.

Especially since any kids who were to hypothetically follow the link and want to get involved would be potentially putting themselves in danger by tangling with the CoS. Re: HALLOWEEN 08 Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if Co$ jumped on it claiming we're trying to corrupt kids with hate propaganda and we're all pedos. And I doubt parents would be all that thrilled at it, either. Handing out the cards to whatever older teens/ college kids wouldn't be nearly so bad, but I still think it would be better (and safer) to go door-to-door handing out cards and flyers instead of giving them to people that come to your house. And it wouldn't surprise me if some Scilons went trick-or-treating with their kid(s) to see if anybody hands out cards or flyers to namefag and fair game Anons.
